And here we go again! As you can see by the runtime this is a FAR more easily digestible video of the trip compared to the vlog, ha.

For the most part this is the same type of video I've made about VCF Midwest in previous years, but I tried to mix things up a wee bit by going over some of the prepwork for the show as well as giving a bit of a different take on the con itself. Not only because I really don't like making the same video every year, but also because I truly didn't get the chance to see as much stuff in detail this time. Which meant I didn't have as much to specifically talk about, in terms of individual exhibits and stuff. Besides, there's a bunch more of those hands-on demos and things in the in the vlog already.

So yeah! FINALLY! Other than a few lingering edits and additions to make to the final videos before they go live, the VCFMW 2023 videos are complete. And wow am I ready to get back to my regular LGR comfort zone. At least once I finally get over this danged virus, it has resurged this week and I'm now testing positive again, ugh... so it goes. At least I still have my voice this time and symptoms are quite mild.

I hope you enjoy this video of the convention, and thanks so much for your support during this month of silliness!

LMAO at me showing you the photo I took of my wife posing with the Bear-a-Byte PC @ 17:31. 😂

*THANK YOU* for being honest and forthcoming in the video -- as show organizers, we need that feedback to improve year after year. Some of what you mentioned we knew about, but some of it we didn't, so thanks again. I look forward to seeing you at other shows in the coming years :-) PS: Random Ward Christensen sighting at 12m18 (white shirt)! Ward was co-creator of the BBS in the late 1970s, and the creator of XModem.

Always amazing who you can find attending these shows. I spotted Bil Herd (of Commodore 128 fame) among the crowd this year.

Will have to keep my eyes peeled for the LGRWare. If you want labels that wrap around the disk Avery makes a size that fits properly too, the 2 3/4" square labels, available in matte or glossy, template Presta 94109. I have a pack of these I bought a few years ago for my own disks

Hey, that's me in the shorts and the checkered shirt at 15:58! And my buddy with glasses is behind me, closer to the Bear-A-Byte PC! We were waiting for a chance to grab a Cool Crab sticker and say thanks for giving some advice, then I came back later when it was a bit quieter and we chatted about the iFeel mouse. I've got an idea for how to showcase the mouse in a video, and will share it via a Patreon message and on the LGR sub-Reddit when I get around to filming it.
