And here we are, the final episode of LGR Thrifts Season 2. Thirty episodes have come and gone, that's crazy! Not sure when the next season will start, as that really depends on my luck thrifting over this winter. But either way, thanks for all the support and encouragement regarding the show, and have a nice Thanksgiving holiday if you celebrate it  :)

When I was younger I so wanted to have a Casio digital diary. I imagined unlimited possibilities. Now even new smartphones bore me because ...well...they are so common. Which is good of course. But still the magical feeling when fondling those Casios in the store...

nice haul!

wow! great scores! I guess you'll be going to that Rescue Mission store more often now, eh? ;)

Nice haul! :D

I do believe those Samoan (meant Salmon) Chairs are for schools. My local University has Chairs like these in the Library and outside classrooms and such.

My god... $10 for an in-box Atari VCS? That's almost a better bargain than the time you found that IBM 5150 for dirt cheap!

Nice haul! I was getting worried there for a while because it didn't look like it was going well to begin with. I hope Season 3 starts soon. I get a big thrill out of these.

Man, what a nice haul of stuff. One of the first digital cameras ever. A boxed Atari VCS. Jaguar games on the cheap. Awesome stuff. Regarding the Jaguar games, I'm surprised the game lot didn't include Tempest 2000, arguably one of the best games for the Jaguar.

I know those chairs very well - late 90s and up to today even, you'll find them in many 'collaborative work' spaces in IT shops - in hallways and such. I saw them at Microsoft and I saw them at Amazon.

Man, I really wanna see that Theme Park for Jaguar in action! Do you have a system to be able to bless us with a video? I didn't even know they ported it to the Jag! What a cool find, dude!

Don't just disregard Brutal Sports Football as a crappy sports game. It's one of the Jaguar's finest. It's also nothing like normal football. Val D'Isere's Skiiing and Snowboarding is also a great racing game.

Kris Asick

"It's the biggest cooch I ever saw!" XD

LazyGameReviews

I didn't dismiss it as such, and in fact, I didn't even say anything about it at all other than the title... I am well aware that it's not just a normal football game :P

LazyGameReviews

Yeah, the magic of those types of devices is all but gone these days, even when finding one in the box

LazyGameReviews

I probably would if wasn't so out of the way! The only time I stop by there is when I take a trip to visit a good friend of mine.

LazyGameReviews

Thanks, I'm glad to hear it! Hoping I have some luck over the winter so I can get enough footage for a new season soon.

There was kind of that moment where I was wondering if there was going to be something magical. Then there was. That boxed Light Sixer is a majestic bargain. Plus the Jaguar carts - hopefully hunting down the big cat itself isn't too much trouble so you can give 'em a good spin. Plus the QuickTake - hopefully it's all playing nicely and you're able to make that episode to take a look at it!

Do any of the cashiers ever question you about some of the strange items you buy (e.g. VHS casino games) ... or do they just give you strange looks? lol

LazyGameReviews

Nope. Even if they did, life is too short to worry about someone glancing at you for buying something you enjoy :)

LazyGameReviews

I'm hoping the QuickTake works as well, but I imagine it will be seeing as it's in such great shape and complete with all its goodies

Sheesh man, you got all the good ... well, *most* of the good games for the Jag! Score!

I was drooling over the QuickTake! I'm a huge classic Apple fan. I actually have the QuickTake 200 in the box and an unboxed 150. They're quite interesting cameras. Did the 150 have the separate close-up lens? Man that box is MINTY!
