Yep! Another TS4 pack. This one being Eco Lifestyle, the ninth full expansion to the game and like, I dunno, overall pack number 173 or whatever. I can't imagine there are too many more expansions left for the game at this point in the game's lifecycle, but honestly who knows.

I also made an LGR Plays video about it over on the LGR Blerbs channel as well, which goes over some completely different kinds of silliness than this review does.

But yeah, it's onto more classic computer tech now, hehe. I've got a few exciting builds, oddware ideas, and other retro randomness very much in the works! Till then, have yourself a good one 👍

Just told my daughter you have a new Sims video up. My eardrums have yet to recover...

50_SHADES_OF_BEIGE

$40 for this... that's reaching even for EA.

Clint, you've become the link between my daughter (10, loves Sims) and me (41, loves retro tech). Now LGR is ALWAYS on in our house. Well played sir... well played.

Truthfully, I want a dirty world to mix things up but definitely do not think this is worth $40. I was surprised you didn't comment more on what many in the community feel is piecemeal release of eco-related content e.g. tiny living, off-the-grid, laundry day, evolving world, this pack being doled out individually. But I guess you are reviewing this pack specifically and not the overall EA strategy. :) Makes sense...

LazyGameReviews

Indeed, I try to evaluate each pack on its own merits. Although EA's pattern of piecemealing content is apparent too. It's one reason I can never recommended one of these packs at full price.

The new dumpster woo-hoo location, because the only thing better than free love, is free tetanus. Lol.

Great breakdown, I was on the fence about this pack, think I'll definitely wait for a sale now

For real? They made an eco-themed pack where garbage is COSMETIC? How can they screw up something so basic? It's like making an Aquaman game where he dies when he falls on water. I mean, come on!

My heart wanted to see some SimCity elements woven into the game, like you mentioned in closing. Alas, that would probably be a whole new game and then you'd have to murder a new doll and stuff. Ah well. Video made me laugh and I had a great time. 😊

Hey there! Hate to be that guy, but you say "Green Friend" when it's actually "Green Fiend".

I am not a snob for graphics and visuals but seriously, TS4 and especailly this addon look HORRIBLE. I assume Clint ain't playing on a potato PC so this is maxed out. Horrible I say.

ARGH!! More SIMS??? NOOOOOO!!!!! Sorry, not a fan.... :)

Good to see Fartwhistle Dingleprop still getting work.

LazyGameReviews

Understandable! Think of it this way: Sims videos are the money-makers that allow more funding for all the other LGR Things. A necessary evil ;)

LazyGameReviews

Yeeeeaaah, it was graphically cut-down even back when it launched in 2014. Six years later it's really starting to show its age.

Haven't played Sims since the second one, but I kind of think these crazy overpriced expansion packs are still preferable to getting microtransactioned to death.

Chris Hutt

My wife and I probably enjoyed sims 2 more than any other version in the series.
