Thrifts always makes me want to go out thrifting, whenever I do I find cool stuff. Thanks for inspiring me!

The fountain thing reminds me of the chocolate fountain at the Chinese restaurant that you put marshmallows in.

Alyxx the Rat

Awesome! Happy new year, Clint!

Yay! New thrifts

I generally hit up at least three Goodwills a week and definitely understand the long lapse in episodes. The whole ShopGoodwill thing really sucks for vintage pc/game/electronic fans since most of the good stuff never gets out on the local store shelves. It takes more effort but you can still get some decent finds.

That was a fun episode. That huge smiley face was so random. The marching band stuff was ominous, and some of the stuff was kinda sad. The beanie babies so reminded me of my aunt, she used to collect them and keep them in cases with the tag protectors on etc. There seemed to be this idea that they'd be super valuable one day. She was horrified that I'd cut the tags off and play with them. But I was like 9 yrs old so yeah, no way I was keeping them in display cases when I could slide them down the banister or use line them all up on the stairs like a theater audience lol

“They got dead” love it

I'm jealous of how good thriving is in your area. It's kinda rubbish up here in mid-Michigan, just dead people's clothes and old furniture.

Yes Fly! - I loved that game when it came out. For a time it beat MSFT and was the most realistic thing out there. I remember just sitting in the cockpits of the planes in the rain and doing the start up from scratch throwing every switch. Still remember the website url they had - iflytri.com

OMG a Vivitar lens! I have a 28mm f2.5 and it's one of the best lenses I've ever owned. Always sharp, very interesting bokeh. Not bad, considering they were a cheap brand back in the day.

Terry Lee

Better luck next time! That Warcraft 3 Reign of chaos collectors edition for only $50 might've been worth it if it was still sealed. but if it was used then you could likely find it on eBay for around $30

Raymond Nichols

OMG Rule of Rose. Been looking for that for ages. I think it might be rare.

Tukaro

I feel like this would have been a good opportunity for Christmas Clone to go around the stores, staring at Christmas stuff, whispering "chrsms".

“Box of rocks?” JESUS CHRIST MARIE THEY’RE MINERALS

That "Complete Idiot's Guide To Creating a Webpage" reminded me of getting the Complete Idiot's Guide To Windows 3.1 when I was a kid first learning computers. I remember mainly wanting the book because it came with a 3.5" floppy disk of random software to play around with, though the book itself ended up being useful as well. The desktop melting screen saver did not disappoint, heh.

Fun fact, the Fly! Chart disc shows my home airport and area I trained in! Have a happy one Clint!

Happy Birthday Clint! :D

I worked at Nintendo when they recalled the gray light guns and we converted them all to orange and sent them back. We had dumpsters full of the gray shells.

Nothing like LGR thrifts to end the year on a high note. A Happy New Year kind sir!

Thrifts episodes always make my day!

Here ya go, buddy! 80s logo just for you. I hope you have Photoshop? It's all there, as layers for your convenience. :D <a href="https://bit.ly/2s0oqOn" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://bit.ly/2s0oqOn</a>

Thanks for another great video Clint, and thank you for putting up my thrift find pics! I probably would not have passed on those IBM/Lenovo Thinkcentre PC's, those are still pretty solid, but you probably, like me, have already so many computers you don't really need them. I have a ThinkPad T60 laptop, and a Thinkcentre desktop, such well made computers.

Binary Unit

Pretty sure that was what was left of the marching band from postal 2

David S. Grop

Quick question: where can I get the "Branches" song used in this video? I can't find it in either of the links in the video description.

LazyGameReviews

Doesn't appear to be on the site anymore. Just Google "Danosongs - Branches," there are other links.

Carey Brown

Oh man, Trivia Adventure!! We played that sooo much when I was younger because I couldn't play the regular Trivial Pursuit. Fun game but very, very dated.

Anonymous

Holy Christ on a cracker! That baby doll on the left at 2:16 looks horrifying.

LazyGameReviews

I can imagine, heh. My family still brings out the mid-80s Trivial Pursuit sometimes. It's laughably dated but adds to the charm.

ogspeace

hey clint, merry christmas and a happy new year! those baby dolls in front of the warcraft three box were creepy. btw, what did you use to film this thrift episode? was your camera glasses fixed already?

Anonymous

Have you ever thought about doing that Thrift episode as the LGR Christmas Clone?

Anonymous

Clint, I can't get enough of your sort of humor. Thanks for the laughs. You made my day =)

Fables? That's a legit kick ass comic book series. I'm a bit sad to see that just tossed on the shelf like that.

Charlotte Grubbs

It always bums me out a bit when you pass up on the typewriters. That Lettera 22 is a really nice find!

LazyGameReviews

I just know so little about them that I don't know where to start! I've found it's ill-advised to dive head first into a new tech hobby.

I was at one of the same Goodwills featured in your video and perused some of the same items you examined on camera, so we may have barely missed each other. Weird. Of course I'm not giving away the location, but I know!

Anonymous

Everyone wanted that Wall Unit, WHen I finally got one I loved it haha I was prob 13-15 ( mid 90s )

Rewatched this. NO REGRETS.
