Diminishment v0.221 (Patreon)
Content
Hey!
If your name is not in the credits, and it should be, let me know! (If you've PMed me a name before, no need to worry, I have the name in a list. I just forgot to update the credits page for this one. It'll be added for the 0.222/the public release.)
Here's the patreon "release"! Finally, the scene is pretty much done. Just some minor stuff to fix before the final & public release! But essentially, the scene is finished. If you want to wait for the portraits, they'll come in a few days
MEGA DL Link (PC, HQ, For those who couldn't run the HQ version before, can you see any difference in performance with this? It's a new unity version, and there's been some fixes to the video player component, so there might be some minor improvement here.)
Other platforms & LQ versions will come out around the 4th/5th.
As always, please don't make recordings of this version. But if you must, and just can't help yourself, please add the patreon.com/Eskoz text somewhere properly visible in the video, or at least in the description.
Stuff missing/needs fixing:
- Portraits during internals
- The audio at the beginning of the event is a bit too quiet, I'll see if I can level it out a bit. I wanted the amplitude to change a bit once you shrink, and while the contrast is nice, I think I'd prefer to have something a bit more level, so no one accidentally blows their ears out, when the volume gets higher later on.
- I might brighten up the internals a bit, re-rendering the AO pass at the moment just for that, as it's a bit uneven where the internals are tighter at the moment. I'd also like to have the cum drops a bit brighter so they pop out a bit more.
- For some reason in this particular scene the loops kind of hang for a frame or two when replaying. It could be the in-game reverb I added, which I haven't used before within unity. It used to be done directly into the audio, but that causes so much audio glitches that I'll take the minor loop hitch over that, if it comes to a choice between the two. Anyway, I'll have to do some testing once I have the time.
- Something I'm forgetting about
I'm not entirely happy with how the final look came out at some places. I might do some re-rendering for this one once I have a separate rendering machine, at a later date. I think I'll try to get one before I have to start rendering the next scene.
I hope you enjoy, and hopefully it's been worth the wait! As always, let me know if you encounter anything weird!
Have a nice weekend!
In case your save files from v021 do not work:
You will need to delete the old one first. You can find the save file in:
"C:\Users\yourwindowsaccountname\AppData\LocalLow\Eskoz\Diminishment\saved_games. gd"
You might have to enable viewing hidden files in windows to access AppData. Either back the old one up, or just delete it, if your saves are not functioning. You will of course lose all those saves if you delete the file.
