Hey everyone,

I made a lot of progress but it's quite hard to show up. I'm doing a lot of elements linking, coding and other "boring" stuff so I don't have anything flashy to show.

I've finally finished the entirety of the "critical path" for the level 02. This mean, right now, you could jump in and play through it from start to finish ,and everything would work. Sound amazing, but I still have a lot of polishing and side stuff to add : Balancing NPC, handling the rewards and side items, creating some dialogs, and polishing stuff.

I've found this level very interesting to make. I've made a lot of improvement in term of narrative and level design compared to the haunted house, but I still feel a bit frustrated. The level is really big, so there's a lot of little things to polish if I don't want to handle to you something too rough. And I also don't want to delay the update too much, as this begin to feel a really long time since the last one.

Anyway, sorry for the rambling ! I'm still trying to find little ways to improve player navigation, so today I've created this little improvement that you can see in the featured pic. 

Since the level will be packed with security camera, I though of exploiting this organic props to create a nice little navigational feature. 

When you do a relevant action, like opening a door or distracting an NPC, a little camera windows will open and show you where the action is occuring, like which door got opened or which NPC is coming your way. 

The reason for that is pretty straight. While the haunted house was a quite small level, focused on guessing and getting lost, here the level is bigger, far more complex so I though it's necessary to highlight relevant actions like that. 

This could also get handy later on on some narrative stuff.

So, like I said, nothing flashy today, this is the most "showable" stuff that I did. I hope I'll have a few more days of progress at this pace so I can fit all I want in this level and finally get done with it!
