Bug-Reports (and general issues/feedback with the game) (Patreon)

Heya everyone,

Since things are a big boring in term of game dev (mostly back-end stuff, coding things and working on technical stuff), I think this is a good point to make things a bit more formal on the bug-report side. 

I re-worked a bit how I'm gonna work on bugs and issues starting now, so it's the perfect moment to give you some directions about how to report a bug so I can be really efficient.

This doesn't mean I won't reply on Patreon, of course, but the comment system is quite ugly when it come to tracking, searching for something... so it's not really the best when you want your issue to be adressed. 

How to report your bug/issue/feedback :

The main point of contact is my mail adress

A mail system is infinitely better than patreon, because I can setup rules to organizes things, search easily an item, etc...So, here's how to help me take care of the point you're making : 

• In the subject : Include a tag like [bug], [issue],[feedback] so I can quickly sort out things.
• In the body : Mention the release version, the behaviour you're getting, the behaviour you were expecting. If possible, give the maximum information about where you were( in game location), what you were doing, which event led to the unexpected behaviour. If you know where to find it, you can send me the player log. You can also send me screenshots.

How bugs will be adressed for now : 

I know how bugs and issues can spoil content delivery, so from now I intend to get far more efficient with bugs-handling. Periodicaly (every month or so), I'll share with you my current backlog of bugs and the priority they're getting, so you will know if an issue is currently being adressed, or if you should send me a mail if I missed something. The current backlog will be posted soon.

So, here it is. I know this kind of post is a bit boring but I need to get bug-handling straight so the game doesn't turn into a mess. 

I don't want it to sound too directive either, it's merely a guideline for thoses who wish to report something but don't know how to. Of course, I'll still reply here, don't worry about that !
