Heya,


I'm a bit later than usual. Sorry about that, my internet was cut for a few days and I'm just getting back to it. Gladly I could still make progress even without it, so I though it would be a good time to update you on progress advancement.

So, as you may have guessed, this update take a longer time than usual to get released. Up until now, I was releasing a lot of small chunk of content, so it was easy to just stop, release an update then get on with it. Sadly, this update feature an huge and interconnected level that I can't easily cut down like I did with the mansion. 

While I intend to resume my initial timing after this release with about one month between updates, this situation might occur again with the next big level release if I can't cut it in half again. I hope you can bear with it ! 

So, were are we for this update?

As you can see, most of the biggest things are done. I'm currently handling NPC creation and modelisation, after having successfully tested their new behaviour. After that, I'll have to integrate them into the game and give them path to follow, and fine-tune them. Gladly, I don't have a lot of specific dialogs to create, since most of theses NPC will try to chase after you - not really chat.

I intend to be done with that in a couple of days. It's something I'm mostly used to so I can get quick with it.

Next step will be to handle the few pieces of logic that I need, like the event that will start the level, and the end of it, to wrap things up nicely. This will probably take me a week or so.

And finally, I really want this level to feel atmospheric - some areas would really feel awesome if I get to make what I want in term of lightning. This is polish-level of work, but if possible I want to get it done. 

So, in the end, to give an ETA, I think the release will be ready anywhere between 10 days to a couple week, if everything go smoothly.

nice to see the new update coming along keep up the good work. and dont forget breaks if you ever need em.

Have you done bugfixing after the latest version? It seems pretty buggy, the accident system seems almost completely broken, and I regularly run into the 'stuck holding' bug a few other people have reported here. It's a bummer, since the game seems like there's a lot of content, but the bugs kind of ruin the experience.

I'm a bit surprised that you think the accident system is broken. I'm interested in your insight about it. Same about the "stuck holding" that shouldn't be a thing anymore. Please PM me about it so we don't flood the comment with technicals details.
