🎵Songwriting progress 23/08/24 (Patreon)

Hello, fellow Pipers!✨

There have been many changes and progress over the past week. Among them, the exciting news is that the composer has completed the song enough to share the composition process sketches!

(The attached file contains recordings up to Verse 1, Chorus 1, Verse 2, and Chorus 2, before going into the Bridge! About 60-70% of the work is done in the total length!)

The rough piano sound is the melody! And the sound from the left is Genevieve's voice, and the sound from the right is Dawson's voice! When I first heard it, I commented that it felt very cold, lonely, like standing in the wind with a damp body. The composer mentioned that they wanted to capture the feeling of loneliness even though they are swept away by the rushing crowd.

It's amazing how everyone imagines different scenes, yet the feelings we receive match. Music is indeed a fascinating field. Each day is a new and different creative process.

I really wanted to share it with you guys before anyone else! It will probably be changed a lot as the very first demo, but I would be delighted if you freely share your thoughts on it!🥰

한주 동안의 많은 변화와 진전이 있었습니다. 그중 기쁜 소식은 작곡가 분께서 작곡과정 스케치를 공유주실 수 있을 만큼 곡을 완성 했다는 점이에요!

(첨부된 파일은 Bridge에 들어가기 전 Verse1 Chorus1 Verse2 Chorus2 까지 녹음된 파일입니다! 전체 길이중 약 60~70%작업이 된거에요!)

거친 피아노 사운드가 멜로디, 좌측에서 들리는 사운드가 제네비브의 목소리, 우측에서 들리는 사운드가 다우슨의 목소리라고 하네요!

저는 처음 딱 듣는 순간 굉장히 차갑고, 외롭다. 축축하게 젖은 몸으로 바람을 맞는것 같은 느낌이 난다는 코멘트를 드렸는데요, 작곡가님께서는 물살같은 인파에 휩쓸려 흘러가지만, 그럼에도 외로움을 느끼는 감정을 담아내고 싶으셨다고 전달주셨어요.

사람마다 다른 장면을 상상하는게 신기하면서도, 또 받는 느낌이 일치한다는게 음악은 정말 매력적인 분야인것 같아요. 참 매일매일이 새롭고 또 색다른 작업 과정입니다.

그 누구보다 가장 먼저 들려드리고 싶은 마음에 한달음에 달려왔네요!

가장 처음으로 공개되는 데모인 만큼 많이 바뀌겠지만, 자유롭게 여러분들의 감상은 어떠셨는지도 남겨주시면 기쁠거에요!🥰
