The lyrics draft 23/08/10 (Patreon)

Hello fellow Pipers! 

As I promised last week, the lyrics are mostly done, so I'm sharing them with you 🥳🎉 

(Please think of Genevieve as Eugene and Dawson as Wendy when you read it!)

I've put in a lot of effort to connect these two worlds on stage. Like Genevieve, who's hesitant to use magic due to others' opinions, sings with Eugene's voice, who's been hurt by prejudice. Dawson's song, supporting Genevieve to use her magic for the right things, is a voice of encouragement for Eugene 😊

The work is progressing like this 👉

 Story Outline (Korean) -> Word, Mood Setting (Korean) -> Translation (English) -> Rhyming (English)

Overall, it's going smoothly, but we need more work on the structure, sentence flow, and choice of words during the translation process for making good rhymes. Therefore, the shared English and Korean files aren't rhythmic yet! However, as the story outline is fixed, thumbnail sketches and some melody demos will be provided soon!

약속했던 뮤지컬의 가사가 어느정도 완성되어서 공유드립니다🥳🎉

제네비브의 역할이 유진, 다우슨의 역할이 웬디라고 생각하면서 봐주시면 좋을것 같아요.

사람들의 시선때문에 마법을 쓰기를 두려워하는 제네비브의 노래가 차별에 상처받은 유진의 목소리로, 그런 제네비브의 마법에 개의치 않고 옳은 일을 할 수 있도록 응원하는 다우슨의 노래가 유진과 함께하는 무대를 꿈꾸며 유진을 응원하는 목소리로, 두 세계가 연결이 될 수 있도록 많은 노력을 기울였습니다.😊

작업은 현재 이렇게 진행되고 있습니다.👉

이야기 흐름잡기(한국어)->단어,분위기설정(한국어)->번역(영어)-> 라임작업(영어) 

전체적으로 원활하게 나아가고 있으나, 번역 과정에서 전체 스토리의 틀과 문장구조, 사용할 단어들을 더 정리하는 작업이 필요해졌습니다. 때문에 현재 공유된 영어 파일도 한국어 파일도 라임이 정리된 상태는 아직 아니에요! 하지만 전체적인 이미지가 정해졌기 때문에 썸네일 스케치 작업이 가능해졌고, 작곡가 분께서 멜로디와 함께 차근차근 라임을 정리하기 시작할 예정입니다. 

많은 업무들이지만 차근차근 해내어 공유드릴 수 있도록 하려고 합니다!
