Episode 28, Behind the Scenes of "The Frame," is here!

This episode went through many revisions for a different reason than the previous one. It was getting too depressing to continue Eugene's story, you know.

Initially, in the sketches, there was a scene where a melancholic Eugene attends school and gets into a fight with a friend who lends her the flute in real time. However, once again, it felt like the flow was becoming too rushed. So, even though it's the same story, I decided to change it and tell the story from Gabrielle's perspective, keeping some distance. We had to move on to Wendy's story in the next episode, so it was a good choice to create some objectivity and perspective. Also, I could introduce more about story of Gabrielle and set a good focal point.

An interesting thing while working on this episode is... Eugene never appeared in real-time in this episode, so it felt awkward to draw.😆

28화 '프레임'의 비하인드 씬입니다.

이번화는 지난화와 다른 이유로 많이 수정을 거친 화입니다. 유진의 이야기를 계속 다루기는 너무 우울했거든요. 처음에 스케치에서 우울한 유진이 학교를 다니다가 직접 플룻 대여해주는 친구와 싸우는 장면이 실시간으로 들어갈 계획이었는데, 또다시 흐름이 급해지는 느낌이 들었어요. 그래서 같은 이야기지만 가브리엘의 시점에서 거리를 두고 이야기를 하도록 바꾸었습니다. 바로 다음화에 웬디의 이야기로 넘어가야 했던지라 상황을 객관적으로 멀어져 볼 수 있게 하기 좋은 선택이었던것 같아요. 그리고 가브리엘이라는 멋진 캐릭터에 대해 더 소개하면서 좋은 중심점을 잡을 수 있었습니다.

재미있는 여담은... 유진이 한번도 실시간으로 등장하지 않은 화여서 그리기가 정말 어색했어요.😆
