Subscription Billing Notice! (Patreon)

It's officially 2023! And a change I promised a few months ago is finally here. New Patrons who sign up to support me on Patreon from this day forward will be billed on the day they subscribe and their subscription will renew on the same date monthly.

So for example: if you sign up on April 10th, you'll pay up front and your subscription will automatically renew on May 10th. You can also cancel at any time after signing up and retain access to my Patreon-only content until the date you were due to auto-renew, instead of losing access immediately as was previously the case. I'll also be able to add new Patrons to my credits list when they sign up, instead of just once monthly! Exciting!

This new subscription model also puts an end to those unscrupulous scamps who sign up, consume all the Patreon-exclusive content and cancel before they're due to be billed. Also exciting! (Not that I didn't enjoy you rascals running roughshod through my digital living room all last year, but if you'd kept it up much longer I might have been forced to do something drastic. Like cry!)

Anyway! This change will not effect current patrons, who will continue to be charged on the first of each month they are subscribed. (However: if you are a current patron who leaves and signs up again at a later date, you will be on the new subscription billing model.) 

All that said: please note that you may be charged up to 24 hours before your  renewal date due to time zone differences.
