Hey hey hey! Haven't posted since last year, that's crazy! 🥳
Hope you all had fun and some nice holidays, but it can definitely be a busy time, so personally I'm relieved that season is over 😮‍💨

Work continues as ever, and despite the holiday busyness, I managed to get a lot done. My goal is for the game to be finished by the end of January (that's this very month!). That might be tough, but hey, shoot for the moon. It's possible the release date will be in February, but that would be the very latest. I should know for certain by the next update around the middle of the month.

In addition, I ported all 3 of my previous games to Mac! Really something I should've done already, but hey, better late than never. More importantly, all of my games going forward should be releasing on both Mac and Windows. Check em' out over on Itch if you've got a Mac!

I began laying the groundwork for BreedTown 3 in January of 2023, and had expected it would only take a few months to complete; like the first BreedTown. Now it's a year later! I'd always heard that games take longer to complete than you expect, and now I realize the truth of that. Still, I can't deny that I love creating these things XD

That's it for now. The light is at the end of the tunnel. To all of you; thank you for supporting me, for spending time on the things I create, and enjoying them as much as you seem to. I want to create something truly great that you all will love, or at least find memorable. And whether or not BreedTown 3 is that thing, I want to be doing this for a long time, and eventually achieve that for you.

See you next update! ^^

I have a Mac! But my Mac says all three games are broken and should be trashed. Obviously Apple has corrupted my machine (again) because your games are not broken at all! (Serious note: I don't know why Catalina is raising such a fuss. All three play fine when I put the respective asset files in a fresh, empty MZ container I made for testing. My best guess is archiving & subsequent decompression stripped/altered a signature somewhere outside the Resources folder.)

If you control click on the Game and hit play, then you can manually override Apple security and play them. Also yeah, you might have to move the Game outside of the original folder. Apple doesn't like indie games on Itch lol, figuring out how to get around their "security" is the only reason Mac ports took so long.
