This week started off slow as we're in this weird mid-point of August waiting for official announcements from Sony and Microsoft. We've got DualShock 4 colors, a PSN issue getting fixed, The Last of Us Part II Grounded Update, Horizon Zero Dawn PC issues,... but in the background of all that there's been rumors and conversations about PS5 apparently having some trouble in the resolution and framerate department. Possible even a surprising price tag? We go over that rumor mill, while also discussing the dramatic decision to delay Halo Infinite out of the Xbox Series X launch. We might have even more waiting to do... September always had a nice 'cha-ching' to it anyway.. right?

We've been getting such great news for PlayStation 5. I feel genuinely bad for people who only game on Xbox. I get the feeling they are in for a sparse few years.

As someone who loves and owns both PS and Xbox, I can't help but wonder what Xbox is doing for these first 2 years (besides Halo). Fable and Avowed are easily 2022-2023 games and I think there is serious burnout with Gears. I really hope they knock it out of the park with Halo and The Initiative's game, whether it be Perfect Dark or not, needs to be great as well.
