Well, I see the hotel as not *the* solution, but as a demonstrator program to show there *is* an alternative to extermination. Obviously, having shown it works, it would have to be massively expanded. Going by what Lute said about the exception for hellborn from being exterminated, what I'm thinking is that Heaven came down and told Lucifer the exterminations were going to be a thing and he managed to negotiate that exception, probably for a promise to not resist.

How Lucifer is portrayed: Tim Curry as Darkness in "Legend". How Lucifer actually is: A neurospicy short king with anxiety and depression. Alastor and Lucifer dress the same. Maybe Lilith likes to dress up her men... Of all the things I expected to see make Mosco fall off her chair this week, the week that her reaction to a certain She-Ra episode will drop, Lucifer answering the phone with "Hey bitch!" was not it. Mosco: "Oh no, I don't need another favorite character!" Viv: "Good. It will hurt more when I kill them off." Mosco: "What?" Viv: "What?" You've probably already reacted to the next episode, but if not... Revelation 2:10: "Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer."

one of my favorite tiny details in the beginning is the second before she goes into her demon form the ground shakes a bit. I reallyyyy hope we see her show off her full powers before the season ends!!! It's just so cool

If Lucifer was indicating he'd be able to get the meeting but they'd probably kill him or something before he dissolved I'll never be okay again. Also newest theory is that Alastor and Lilith made a deal and that is why something happened to each of them seven years ago. Next episode is effin nuts though, lets GO!

Is Vimto worth drinking? Like I'm in the US and I was seriously tempted to spend silly amounts from the import markets on it but people said they changed the formula a while back and it's trash now. Also yeah, I don't know how people with ADHD do it. My entire life I've been winging it with half my mind racing and the other half trying desperately to focus on the thought I passed a half hour ago. I'm working on the assumption that Lillith made alastor (well...empowered a regular human soul) he gets a ton of power in exchange for being her thrall. With his mission being to take out threats to the throne (hence taking out the old overlords that got too strong) This also translates into protecting charlie. This could explain why he seemingly manifested out of nowhere. I also...kinda wonder about alastor's shadow, when he fights it's the shadow that fights, not him, and his demon mode has a sort of artifical, scarecrow quality to it. I wonder if his body might be fake, with the shadow being the actual alastor, or possibly even lillith herself, hiding, watching from the darkness. Which could explain his instant hostility towards lucifer.

I need more Lucifer in this series. He did not disappoint. Might be my favorite portrayal of The Morningstar ever. "More Than Anything" might be my new favorite song in the series. Baby Charlie in awe of her dreamer of a father. So fucking adorable!

Two competing theories about Alastor and Lilith. First theory: Alastor was just working his way up the ranks of demons and was going to take out Lilith herself, priming him to become even more than an Overlord and challenge Lucifer. Vox attacks just as Alastor is about to triumph, Vox assumes his tricksies have killed both and doesn't say a damn thing cause he's afraid of reprisal from Luci. Lili and Alastor made a deal that kept him alive but bound to protect Charlie... who he actually likes more than he would have ever assumed. Second theory: Lilith rallied the souls of hell and actually tried to march on heaven, Alastor is her lieutenant and she has an inside man with Adam. Adam assures her he'll open the gates to let the army march into heaven. He instead shows up with Sera and an army and slaughters all the demons, most fun he's had in ever. Realizes he can keep having fun if he can talk Sera into annual culling.
