Early, raw... just like my emotions for this episode *sobs*

I love how Glimmer had a full on melt down just because Bow wasn't wearing a croptop.

Bow's whole story being an allegory for coming out in this episode with the very obvious parallels. And learning that his dramatic side comes from Lance.

Always liked the slight in joke, more an amusing comment, the battle cry / activation phrase of He-man is " by the power of greyskull" Lance seems to have got some He-man lore in the library miss filed.

Frank Wales

A little echo that you might have missed: when Bow reveals his true self, Lance says: "we thought we were being supportive, but really we were being terrible!" This echoes what Bow said to Adora in 'Flowers for Perfuma', after Adora disappointedly reveals her non-She-Ra self to Perfuma: "I thought I was being supportive, but I was actually being terrible!" Like fathers, like son, I guess.

Vilmu

The creators have stated that homophobia doesn't exist in Etheria's culture, so they did a different kind of coming out in this episode. The Horde isn't really homophobic either, but discourages vulnerability and intimacy and stuff like that in general regardless of who you are.

You let Elijah know when you're recording? Bold move. If she can guess when you pause, and for how long, she'll know exactly when to send you a text perfectly timed with a shocking moment. Like, imagine if you got a text that read "Oh, crickey!" right after *that* moment in Owl House? ---- 22:00 - The ASL for "lesbian" is to sign the letter "L" under your chin ---- You know you could binge react to season three; it's only six episodes. And nothing bad happens the whole season. Everything is p̸e̶r̶f̷e̵c̷t̷. ---- Oh no, Catra's dead. Good thing cat's have nine lives!

Carabas

Cliffhanger warning: this is about the point where the show becomes dramatically more serialised.

Forget the end, remember purrito!

Carabas

I strongly dislike that enter just posts the message instead of just taking you to the next line, like any proper text editor does... Anyway, George is named after George DiCenzo, 80s Bow's VA; and Lance follows the family tradition of being named after a weapon.

For such a light episode is ends with a quick swift boot to the head. Now who wants to see Bows 12 brothers?

Catradora fan

Bow's dad's are so sweet love supportive parents

JHB

Compare the dads' outfits, especially George's, with Bow's 80's inspired outfit in "Roll With It", and, of course, with 80s Bow.

Kyle Smilowski

"Fisted in the face with gay" XD Best line ever!

Gregor Wolff

Wasn`t that a nice ending?!

Omegastar

Love this episode because we finally get to learn more about Bow! And its got such a nice message. The reaction from Bow's parents is so heartwarming.

Carabas

See, I know that, and it says so right there under the text box, but whilst typing muscle memory is going to win out.

SweetCandle

Also, George is named after the late George DiCenzo, who had voiced Bow (and Hordak) in the 80's version. He's probably most familiar to the general public as Lorraine's dad in Back to the Future ("Stella, another one of these damn kids jumped in front of my car!").

Oh, right, I don't know if you noticed, but the very first shot of this show is of the world from space, and there are no stars, and no sun in the sky, just a lot of moons, is the same in daytime, they don't have a sun at all

ELS_Art

Totally messaged Elijah to ask her “who is the George and who is lance in their relationship?” 🤭

John Bossert

Catra Burrito lmao
