personally for the fantasy vs reality bit i'd explore for a bit see if their was a way to visit occasionally but if not i wouldn't stay, as much as this world can(and does) suck it's whats real and why we are us

I understand being impatient and wanting to know how they finish the series but complaining about why they’re going through this fantasy vs. reality bit was how they mended Dipper and Mabel’s relationship to further on with the story. The finale of this show is my absolute favorite in terms of all other animated/cartoons besides maybe ATLA, can’t wait for your reaction to it!

If you were to of asked me in the past, like from my Preteens to my mid 20s I would have said yes to the fantasy world without any hesitation. In part, I did live in a fantasy world full of imagination in my dreams & always daydreaming when I was awake. It was the only place I was happy. Now that have a nephew that I want to help grow to have a better life I would definitely be conflicted. This last episode better be amazing. It looks like this group of survivors is in for the fight of their lives. Epic last stand. 💙

If I had the situation where my loved ones were there with me. Like my household all went into the simulation. Then yeah I'd stay. No more chronic illness or pain, I could be more mobile and actually do fun things! No stupid dietary restrictions, or stress over money. That sounds like pure bliss! But if I had to go alone, and my loved ones were fake versions of themselves then no. I'd always choose a reality with them, than a fantasy without them.

Don't worry, the final episode is double length, so they won't be rushing to through to the climax. I love this moment of growth in the courtroom from both Dipper and Mabel. Dipper realizes the importance of sticking by the side of the one closest to him, looking out for them, Mabel learns that reality sucks, but it's better to push through it than to live in a fantasy, and both learn that they can take on anything together. It shows just how far both have come and a perfect way to mend their relationship so they can take on Bill.

I'd really really love the gravity falls finale but I think I like amphibia finale slightly more

Am late on this lol but I will say focusing the penultimate episode on Dipper and Mabel's relationship is important as it's the heart of the show and resolving this tension of growing up and apart was important to tackle the Bill stuff Also the finale is like really fucking long so you're not exactly missing out on time to wrap everything lol
