Glad you're enjoying the show so far!

Hey Mosco does the DuckTales theme song get stuck in your head because this and the 1987 theme song are notorious for being the most ear worm Inducing songs ever 😂😂

Shay

So your comment on Huey being pushed aside makes a lot of sense. Frank Angones confirmed that each season would focus on one of the three overall. Season 1 is Dewey, Season 2 is Louie and Season 3 is Huey.

Flix

The beauty of the intro is that some of it is stuff that'll come up in the show, but other things are "only" references to adventures from the comics :3

Don't want to tell you how to run your channel, but just checked the Wiki, and this is listed as ep 9, just as a head up, also looking forward to "The House of the Lucky Gander!" gives some..."interesting" info about launchpads hobbies.

Interesting, looking at my downloaded copies it's listed as 9 for me as well, but looking at disney+ it's episode 4 (with 1 and 2 being seperate, they are combined in my old downloaded copies, just as they were for mosco) I recall somebody suggesting she watch in chronological order rather than broadcast order, I wonder if that's the reason d+ and the downloaded copies we all have are different, I'll have to look into what the difference is. Edit: Furthermore, when vlc flashes the episode title on screen for a second (roughly 13 seconds in) I can actually see mosco's is listed as episode 9 as well. So she must indeed be watching them in D+ order. Edit 2: Oh for god's sake...Mosco literally addresses this a few seconds later...that'll teach me to comment before watching, I did the same thing on episode one, calling out a bit of trivia I thought she missed that was mentioned minutes later. My bad

I'm glad you are doing the production order instead of airing order. The Season Pacing is much better this way imo.

You know, they fly in a plane piloted by Launchpad - climbing unclimbable mountains is probably the *safer* option.;)

I can't promise that Launchpad will get much better. He does have his moments though. Kinda figured you'd struggle with him here. He's... a lot... in this episode. I will promise that you will not have to suffer through "boy crazy" Webby.

I'm sorry moscow but you're worry for the safety of these children will probably never diminish this is probably the safest they'll ever be

Season 1 Launchpad is a bit much at first, I feel like you'll be able to at least tolerate him as the show continues. Heavy lore will be coming soon as well as guest appearances by Batman and Robocop. No seriously.

Thanks for the shoutout and Glad to have helped. Yeah, this order is so much better. Apparently this episode was originally pushed way back because it's a snow episode and Disney needed something vaguely Christmas-y for December. Without this episode at #3 where it should be though, all the major focus on Huey would've been pushed to the end of the season. Granted, this season's mainly about Dewey anyway, but still.

Yeah, Launchpad can be a bit much for some people, but he is at least in character from the original show. Trust me though, his more endearing antics outweigh the annoying ones as the show goes on and he has plenty of shining moments throughout. Think of him as the Soos of this series, if Soos couldn't at least repair stuff.

I definitely remember the chronology being weird when I first watched it years ago, it'll be interesting to see if things flow better watching the reacts in the correct order. At the time I just figured Ducktales was like clone wars where the timeline just jumps all over the place for no reason.

How is it Huey didn’t get that explorers badge after being part of the group that discovered Atlantis?
