Not all ideas are good ideas and this Wile E. Coyote setup didn't work either. Basically this thing capsized the first time it took a turn or took a wave (or got wet).

It was found off the coast of Romania. It's an American small boat also called a RIB. We shipped a lot of these to Ukraine over the past two years. The old Soviet era Styx missile was placed on a small frame forward of the conn.

The reason why this didn't work is ships/boats and sub have a center of gravity and center of buoyancy. Anytime the center of gravity is above the center of buoyancy, you have a very 'maneuverable' vessel. If it is too far above, it will be unstable and capsize.

Every culture and country has its Rednecks. In Florida, we called this 'Redneck Engineered', usually followed by a 'yee-haw' or a shotgun blast towards space.

What you can carry on a 11 m RHIB is a small bank of Hero-120s. Much softer launch profile, small, slow, but a salvo of four to six could be effective. Need to mod the guidance a bit though... (This example here is a kamikaze drone.)

That’s not a whole Styx missile. That’s just the warhead. The actual missile itself is almost the size of a MiG-15.
