The moment I yelled I smartly pulled Mizuhara down with me and as shouts rang out in reply that I couldn't make out along with the sounds of guns or something being cocked and readied as they were just outside the home with where they were.

But thankfully they didn't directly fire their guns into the house as I heard one of them, the one telling the others to start looking for materials yell out. "Rebecca!" And then a tsking noise escaped before there was a silence as they seemingly were talking amongst themselves.

And finally, a female voice spoke back out. "Hey, we don't want any trouble, we are with Mirko's Collectors, we just want to collect some PI but if you guys cleared out this area we can move on."

Mizuhara quickly whispered to me at my odd expression. "PI stands for Primordial Item. And I know of them, they are mostly scrappy people and will fight with others but they don't kill people if they can help it."

I gave her a long look before I cursed and said. "Alright... Fuck it. I need more information honestly."

I then yelled out through the crack in the door. "Yeah we cleared out the weird psychos in this place, but I am new to this universe, could I trade some PI for a map or something of the area?" I asked.

And there was a moment of silence before a different female voice spoke out. "Alright dude, just come on out so we can talk normally. We won't start anything, so don't make us finish it."

I looked at Mizuhara who grimaced but shook her head and just said. "It's up to you Jake." I took a breath and then stood up and put my shotgun over my back as I pulled open the door slowly and walked outside to truly take in who the four people outside were.

And my lips twitched seeing them as I recalled Mizuhara's words about them being part of a 'scrappy' group. As I all but instantly recongized all four of them.

First was the definition of a brawler who had long luscious blond hair with her ample curves being displayed in a tight-fitting muscle shirt and a short pair of exercise shorts clinging to her bottoms with shotgun gauntlets being worn on her fists. It was clearly Yang Xiao-Long from RWBY.

The second woman I instantly recognized was due to her bluish skin, teal hair, and odd eyes that I recognized as being Rebecca, from Cyberpunk Edgerunners who was clad in a contrasting covering outfit in a long trench coat that looked... Heavy while she was armed with an oversized shotgun that made my shoulders ache just looking at the damned thing.

The third person was also from Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and I realized it was her voice telling Rebecca not to turn our house to fucking Swiss cheese with her cannister shot of a shotgun. As the third person had shorter silver hair and her voluptuous body clad in a tight body glove-like outfit with her multicolor eyes staring into my own. And she was Lucy Kushinada also from Cyberpunk Edgerunners.

And lastly the last person... Was proof that this world was utterly fucking weird as I looked at the woman with wolf... No hellhound ears atop her head with flames in the center of the ears. She had dark brown hair with flame-like streaks of bright gold through her hair, and she was wearing a tight-fitting low-cut shirt with short shorts. A literal Vtuber...

"They even threw Vtubers into this hellhole too?" I asked astounded as I looked at Sinder who twitched before a wry smile came across her face.

A face palm rang out from behind me and I heard Mizuhara state bluntly. "The company is throwing slice-of-life waifus like myself into this hellhole... She actually has some supernatural power at least."

And that was true. But either way my words did break the tension as the girls looked me over and seeing my own shotgun was secure on my back they relaxed a good bit and I realized that Yang was basically the leader of this squad as she walked over and looked me over.

"Hmm men are rather rare honestly in this hell hole, and you don't have the same look as the Company rejects so who are you?" She asked conversationally and I looked around and then twitched as I realized our food was going to burn.

"Here, come on in inside. We were just cooking breakfast and I don't want it to burn." Plus there was no harm in sharing as we were making a fuck load of food to gorge ourselves on some good home cooking before we went further ahead.

I walked back inside the house while leaving the door wide open so they could see that there wasn't any traps or an ambush waiting for them and as we came into the kitchen with Mizuhara going back to cooking, Sinder quickly asked. "So come on, spill on how you got here, as don't even bother saying you are native as every single native is a monster of some sort Haha." She said making my lips twitch.

As just the thought of being outnumbered by an entire universe of damn near innately almost certainly hostile entities didn't exactly fill me with confidence. Either way while taking in the four girls forms as they leaned agaisnt the wall or took seats I spoke. "Yeah, I got reincarnated here after dying. But not by the Company and I got one of those bracelets with some added additions as well."

Then Rebecca cut in with a chuckle. " Hah Wait, so you are just some random gonk without any powers or cheat?"

My lips twitched at her actually earnest way of asking it. But thankfully Sinder said with a smile. "Ehhh, he is probably from a prime Earth-like myself. Wait... What does your bracelet do other than teleport you out?" She asked getting to the heart of the matter.

And I realized this was a tricky question as I really... Really shouldn't just pour out the secret that I can buy cheats and other stuff out of Jake's store as I can actually give other people cheats as well.

But then Yang finally spoke out beside Lucy who was seemingly content in just staring between me and Mizuhara. "Hmm... Doesn't really matter honestly, he is a normie, she is a normie. So they aren't a threat to us."

'Ah... yes Yang is quite literally bulletproof.' I thought wryly and then after a moment of thought I opened up my bracelet and opened up the shop and typed in [RWBY AURA]

Just the act of awakening my aura would cost me 1500 credits... Or literally killing hundreds of Micheal Myers to get a random superpower based on my own soul along with some enhanced strength and a force field around myself that would protect me from a certain amount of damage.

I took a breath and looked at Yang and said. "My name is Jake Barriss, and I recognize you as I am sure you know of us 'normies' like Sinder and I knowing of other universes and such... And I want to know what it would cost for you to unlock my Aura, Yang."
