What A Cartoon! - The January 2022 Schedule (Patreon)

Happy New Year, everybody! We hope you had a great 2021, we at Talking Simpsons Network enjoyed entertaining you all year long, and we're looking forward to doing it all over again in 2022! We're beginning the year with taking the week off from What A Cartoon, but in its place we're giving folks a taste of our King of the Hill podcast just as we're about to restart it as another of our monthly bonus podcasts. Plus we've got a special guest joining us to discuss Futurama this month, and then we wrap up January with a What A Cartoon Movie on a Disney sequel.

Starting this month King of the Hill joins Futurama as a monthly Patreon-exclusive podcast! To give folks a taste of what they've been missing, we're sharing on the free feed a KotH podcast we released in 2021 that is very timely, as Luanne launches a Christian puppet show as the Super Bowl looms.

Our exploration of season 3 of Futurama continues, this time as Bender gets injured and becomes a folk musician. Who better to guide him than Beck? And who better to guide us through Beck's career than our own special guest, Beck-expert Nina Matsumoto?!

And then our January continues with TalKing of the Hill hitting Patreon at its new release time, the last Friday of the month. Things get chilly in Arlen in this wintry ep about working for a bad boss.

And then our first proper WAC ep of the new year will arrive with our discussion of the Disney sequel that won our poll. Picking up right after where The Lion King left off, Simba and his new family are struggling with a bitter feud that interprets a different tale of The Bard's. Yes, it's giant cats meets Romeo and Juliet in this 1998 direct-to-video favorite straight from the Disney Vault.
