2022 is upon us, and we hope everyone had a good time as possible celebrating the new year. We at the Talking Simpsons Network are so ready for 2022 that we're already interested in nailing down a podcast in February. Yes, in addition to all our monthly releases like Talking Simpsons, What A Cartoon, Talking Futurama, or TalKing of the Hill, we plan to end the second month of the year as we always do, with another of our monthly $10 premium podcasts, and we'll need your help to decide what we'll be covering in February 2022.

For those of you who are new to the Talking Simpsons Patreon, WELCOME. Also, you should know that once a month we release the What A Cartoon Movie! podcast, an extra-long discussion about an animated feature film, exclusively for our $10+ Patreon subscribers. And when we open up the voting for each month's subject, we want all the $5 subscribers to also have a chance to be heard too, so those subscribers can help pick episodes they might enjoy down the line!

Our next 2022 poll is about us returning to some of our favorite shows we've covered on What A Cartoon! Some of our fave movies have been expansions of the best animated series, so we're again putting it to a vote with some of our feature-length favorites.

So here are the four TV adaptations you'll be voting on:

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters (2007) - The first stars of Adult Swim got big enough to be in a movie that was so weird you simply had to appreciate the guts of everyone involved in this oddity!

The Batman/Superman Movie: World's Finest (1997) - Looking for more Batman after our latest Patreon miniseries? Well, how about his first DCAU team-up with Superman, all animated by the top folks at TMS?!

Sailor Moon R the Movie: Promise of the Rose (1993) - The first theatrical film of Sailor Moon's is also the most beloved, as the scouts work together to save Tuxedo Mask from a possessive ex flying around in a space flower!

South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut (1999) - At the peak of South Park's initial burst of popularity, this massive musical about a war against Canada was the film kids snuck into in droves back in 1999!

So please, make your choice known before the poll closes on the night of January 7! And thanks as always for your continued support of our podcasts—we couldn't keep doing all our super-deep movie podcasts without you!

Easily the hardest poll for me to pick a choice.

Aqua teen had a litteral terrorism scare how can we not talk about it

I know World’s Finest is probably doomed coming hot off of BAB, but dammit, I do, I *do* I want more Batman.

I find the ATHF movie interesting. For a block that has been so successful the past twenty years, Adult Swim has only attempted 1 theatrical movie. And it was only a limited release!

South Park is going to win easily but I hope you do the Aqua Teen movie at some point. I loved the Adult Swim April Fools prank where they said they would show the movie in full, which they did...in a tiny square in the corner of the screen with no sound

Tashmon Dimps

I’m voting for Aqua Teen, but I’m definitely super interested in your guy’s thoughts on the South Park movie. It’s probably my favorite thing to come out of the show

Tyler the Destroyer

Easiest poll since you guys had Into The Spider-verse as an option Time to review the best musical ever!

littleterr0r

I voted for Sailor Moon just because I know it will be the least liked.

Ronnie Neeley

Crazy for sure that they are just NOW coming out with more theatrical releases... the film did well in theaters so not really sure why they didn't jump on more opportunities (again, until 2022 with a few films coming out).

Fighting evil by moonlight Winning love by daylight Never running from a real fight She is the one named Sailor Moon

I actually thought this was gonna be a tight race. Shows what I know.
