So, are you all suitably 'horrored' (is that even a word?) out after the Halloween-themed movies? πŸŽƒ

It's time to return to some non-scary/spooky/creepy/gory films, and what can I say, these two films were amazing. I absolutely loved both of them ❀

Planet of the Apes just wasn't what I expected. I didn't want to watch it because a planet full of people dressed as apes didn't appeal to me. But it's now probably one of my favourite movies. I can't wait to see the rest. Are they worth the watch? πŸ€”

One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest was one I did want to see, especially after seeing Jack Nicholson's performance in The Shining. His acting is on point, and this again turned out to be one of the best films I've ever seen 😁

Let me know below who your favourite actors and actresses are.

Gene Hackman retired from acting in 2004 (he is currently 92 years old) but had a very successful career. Some of my favourite Hackman movies include: The French Connection (1971) The Poseidon Adventure (1972) Superman (1978) Unforgiven (1992) Crimson Tide (1995) Enemy of the State (1998) Behind Enemy Lines (2001) He actually has a role in Young Frankenstein.

Roger Freeman

Gene Hackman actually appears in Young Frankenstein. He did it for free just to be in the movie.

Hi Nilestex. I wasn't aware that he appeared in it for free. Thanks for the info.
