The 100 Patron Surprise! (Patreon)

So when I realized early this weekend that I was likely to hit 100 Patrons this week, I decided to cook up a little surprise for everyone - a visual guide to the House of Rook. I'd gotten an email from a reader a few months ago, asking if Emily was, in fact, inspired by Emma Watson (surprise, yes) and wondering who the inspiration for Sarah Washington was.

As a writer, I've always sort of done visual casting in my head. For the last decade or so, I've kept a folder of pictures, whether they're on my computer, on my laptop, on my phone or my tablet, where I save images that inspire me, whether it be for characters, stories, scenarios, etc. I've done that for my non-erotic writing, and I have half a dozen files for novels I've written with my visual casting for those works. 

Well, since Quaranteam has come along far enough now to rival the length of any of those novels, I decided to do a visual casting sheet for QT, although just for the House of Rook, for the time being. Now, a handful of things - these consist of photos taken from all sorts of places. Many of them are celebrities, but some of them are taken from Tinder profiles, Bumble profiles, random Google image searches, even advertising! I just file them away until I'm going to use them later.

So here's about 80-90% of what I think of when I imagine any of these characters. There are minor differences, obviously (for example, you'll see the person I chose to represent Lexi doesn't have the scars that I described) but it's pretty close. If you don't want to look at it and just imagine them however you want to in your head, that's absolutely fine, and I respect that, so feel free not to look at this.
