I'm going to miss them, they grew on me and was an unexpected treat 🤗

Muyaho

This was a fun little show. I feel like they set the wrong mood for this show though. This fluffy webtoon vibe doesn't really fit the emotions of these characters. I think it would have been easier to show the inner turmoil of the main characters if they chose a less stylised set and styling. Also I found the acting to be a bit lackluster. I think it's cuz to me this story had the potential to be a great character study, kinda in the style of Blueming, or even Light On Me where the mood gradually develops, but unfortunately, the director didn't take it in that direction but I do feel that even they did, the actors lack the experience to do so

That bridge is in Songdo, Incheon. It’s like one hour drive from Seoul. They showed a tower of the strange form on the background- that is called G-tower. Anyway, they often use that bridge for dramas )).

Actually I just had a thought that K BL’s are… romantic. Like, in general they are all are, don’t you think? But I agree that the ending was anticlimactic. Well at least they ended up being happy together. 💖

I was a bit disappointed also, cheated to quote you. They could have expanded this to another season or more episodes. I liked the series. It is a shame the tender moments seemed rushed.

Nathan

Tita Josie, the sponge bath doesn’t work in cold climate, that’s probably the reason they’re not using a lot of sponge baths in K dramas 😂. They only use it on foreheads in case of fever 🥵. Let’s leave the famous sponge baths for Thailand, they have got the copyright on their magic properties it seems ))

I do relate to the comments above. It did feel rushed and it would have been nice to at least get one real kiss in. But, I enjoyed the dialogue and, more than anything, I was blown away by their acting for first timers. Not only was it more bromance being Korean, but also, the fact they are in the same group, I’m pretty sure would have made a kiss tougher than usual. It was still better than a lot of the other BLs out there (especially Korean ones) that are just very predictable. Also, Viki shows that episodes 8 and 9 will be available in 9 days. Does anyone have a clue what that’s about?

I liked the show and the characters abd the story but I wish they would've given it two more episodes on top of the epilogue so we could enjoy their relationships more and dive a little into the 2 year separation. Even though they are in the same group I do wish we could've gotten a kiss even of it was a cheek kiss or even a wooden peck, at this point even a camera angle kids would suffice. Tita Josie I was so with you on Da Yeol's hair, both of them looked so handsome in their older looks. The towel dry strikes again lol, where's a sponge bath when you need it.

Cindy Bowser

I agree that Da Yeol’s hair did look better curvy and I think they were going for a softer look at that stage of the relationship.

Cindy Bowser

Thanks. You’re probably right though I was hoping for something else. They have posted BTS clips on YT, but that doesn’t mean anything.

Nathan

It seemed as if the actors had “no kiss” scenes written into their contracts.. That’s a pity because in this case how indeed you could show them reunited, then you would need to show the feelings. So they avoided those moments entirely. Maybe that’s why we are feeling cheated on.. ?🧐

What’s great about the serie s is the dialogue. And I love the fact that Tae Hyun didn’t accept Dayeols confession at first. You can tell the confusion, hesitation since he’s really a broken person. He feels that after all this years he has finally has someone but what happens if he loses him too. And agree I didn’t mind the time skip but the second one, I mean we would have love to see what happened after they met. Also, I think this was filmed when they were still in the shitty company, so I guess they specifically requested the No kiss contract because they probably think that the fans would just ship them every time, which I get but I mean all kpop groups tend to have ships anyway. But I do love the series and these two deserves the love.

TitaJosie

As much as I loved this series, I have to agree. Something was lacking and it was definitely apparent in the last few episodes. They did the best they could I guess given the offscreen circumstances with Omega X's former company. 💖

TitaJosie

The ending definitely could have been better. It feels like we got the icing without the cake. 👀😬

TitaJosie

I agree. I've heard they tried to stick to the manhwa in how they did things, but I kind of wish they didn't. 👀😬

TitaJosie

Yeah I'm guessing they didn't kiss because of the same reason, that since they're in the same group maybe it would have been too awkward. 👀😬

TitaJosie

The sponge baths are safe and sound in Thailand where they belong. Lol! 🧽😝😁

TitaJosie

I can live with the no kisses. It was more the lack of exploration of them finally getting getting together and deciding to finally get together that I wanted to see. I kind of figured they wouldn't kiss since they were in the same group. 👀😬

TitaJosie

I absolutely agree to all of that. I really hope they get all the love, them and their groupmates. 💖

2023-04-11 05:53:33 The biggest problem is there is a failure in translating the feel from the WEBTOON (and actual translation). When they reunited, Cho wasn’t completely healed from his trauma, in fact DaYeol leaving him probably added to this abandonment issue. So he couldn’t admit his feelings. The next 2 years they were doing stuff together just not ‘putting a name’ to their feelings. DY waited without demands and accepted what Cho offered. Time that Cho used to come to peace with his feelings, and let go of fear, that you can love, be loved and that why will stay with you, until he confessed openly before the exam. I personally find the scene all the more meaningful it’s all raw feelings, nothing sexual. He was finally emotionally available. Then the next scene is a graduation ceremony day, and they show us a Cho completely open about his feeling by bringing flowers in public to his partner. Truth is Cho should have required therapy to overcome his past trauma but as in any KBL that’s not even approached. The time, patience and caring pays a replacement for that in his healing process.

TitaJosie

I really wished they would have fleshed out the in-between years/parts a bit more. Oh well. I still love the series, even if it nonetheless feels incomplete. 💖

What a cool, professional answer - high five, Tita Josie 🙌🏼👏🏼🥳!
