Ryuk said he's convinced that lockdown lovers are simps, and he's absolutely bang on. Lockdown lovers are usually simps, and/or school prefect/teachers pet types. The type who have been seeking validation from authority since childhood. The type who will do anything for a pat on the head and a biscuit. They fit broadly under the category of 'unexceptional people'. And unexceptional people- unsurprisingly -are often intimidated by, and envious of, exceptional people. This is why so many of them love the idea of communism, because it suppresses and stifles exceptionalism. In their pathetic, insecure little minds, it levels the playing field. It also offers unexceptional people the opportunity to gain positions of power within bureaucracy, law enforcement, etc, by virtue of the fact that they are naturally subservient to authority. The school prefect is rewarded for being subservient to the teacher.
They don't have our charisma, our intelligence, our courage, or our talent. They can't compete with us in social situations, so they seek to stifle us with the help of authority. Hence why so many of them are snitches. This is what we're dealing with. Weak, pathetic, and unexceptional people.
Recently, a member of authority (can't remember if it was senior police, government minister, or civil servant), said that people need to stop shaming others for grassing people up for violating covid restrictions. Lol as if. Clearly, shaming government grasses has become 'a thing', and long may it continue. We are the equivalent of 'the cool crowd' in school, hence we are the arbiters of what's socially acceptable and what's not. We have the charisma to do that far more effectively than they can.
