So, this episode is the one that started to hook me into this show (the coming episodes cemented my interest in the show). I gotta say, you really got me when said that you wished you got more time with your dad like Rose did. And yeah, that driver was stuck in a time loop, similar to what happened at the end of Doctor Strange. I hope Buck is feeling better! Take care of yourself, Travis!

This episode is definitely a hit in my books. I'm a fan of the more emotional episodes, and there's plenty of them in a show like this lol. You mentioned the washing machine in the kitchen. That's how it is in most British houses, since so many houses were built before creation of washing machines, they needed a room which already had plumbing in it. Then new houses were built to accommodate the washer in the kitchen to match. In the last 15-20 years or so new builds might have a utility room with space and plumbing for a washer dryer. The word that you couldn't make out on the phone wall is "Watson," who was Alexander Graham Bell's assistant.

I enjoyed watching this one with you. It's a beautiful episode, so well written and very moving. The creatures were crazy, but that's Doctor Who lol. I felt the story fit together really well though and you see that Rose gets her intelligence from her dad, he was a smart man and a good man. And I love how we see The Doctor and Rose grow closer as each episode passes, he can't leave her now and she trusts him enough to know that he won't, that's so adorable. 😊 I can't wait for the next episodes, it's a two part story next and these two episodes are widely considered to be two of the best of the entire show. So I'm really excited to see your reaction to them and you're going to meet a very special and iconic character for the first time who I think you're really going to like. 😍
