Some Painting Practice (Patreon)

I actually did these way earlier in the month, and anyone who's a high res patron could have already seen these. But I thought I'd collect them into a post for the rest of my patrons too. And I can comment on them.

I have a couple issues when it comes to painting, one is that after the initial stages I can find the process of iterating on better rendering very difficult. It's hard to render without losing the energy of what made the sketch layer so appealing. And it's even harder to do it when your sketch layer is so rough and full of loose anatomy errors. I would have to spend a lot of time getting better at these.

The Cass and Shiva ones are my favorite of this bunch, the Cass one especially. The Midna one I did here has a really wonky asymmetrical face that I messed up on. But it would still be worth sharing in any event. The Fi one is interesting, trying to get a warm look to her crystalline skin.

I've been in a weird state and have been trying to power through a lot of things. Sometimes I worry that I'm not posting "good enough" content for you guys. While I should be producing good content, I don't need to work myself up into a state where my anxieties flare up. It's an unusual problem that I find a lot of creative people are experiencing when all your content goes up and can immediately be judged.
