Really glad that James Wan came back to "conclude" this story.  Definitely took a few turns and directions I did not expect, and I really like some of the connections/ tie-ins we get with the original movie

I think the series continues to get better and I find myself enjoying certain aspects of each film. I always enjoy how movies can link into one another like when Elise wanted to suppress his memories and then everything correlated in the end. I can't recall if you've reacted to the Annabelle series, but that one has some really great connections and a good amount of horror/ scares! love the horror aspect of the first film as you mentioned, and the mystery puzzle/problem-solving aspect of the second, it reminds me of the movie (which I recommend you watch) called, "One Missed Call". As for the out of body experience you asked about, I recall having a sleep paralysis where I could feel a weight on my body holding down my arms in my bed, I was facing the wall so I couldn't see what was pushing me down but I could feel the presence of something staring me down while holding me, but not being able to move my head to see, not that I wanted to anyway. I was so afraid to sleep again for about 3 days, but I've never had it happen to me again and that was maybe 5 years ago.

I think I like the first one better. Like you said, more "horror". The scariest thing is that I still got that effing ukulele song (Tiptoe through the Tulips) from the first movie stuck in my head tho! 😖 I haven't seen of the other movies (hadn't seen these ones either), so I'd be up for more.
