In the winter of 1921, several breakthrough science fiction pieces set the tone for the kind of dramas we know and love just under one hundred years later. One of these is perhaps the first ever scenario of a "robot" rebellion against mankind. Much like in our modern day, they are inspired by the anxieties that can be generated by the revolutionary impact technology has on our lives. In the world of radio those who are forward thinking are already trying to turn what was once also only science fiction into reality by marketing their devices not just to enthusiasts but to the public at large.

Hey guys, is The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in public domain, or do I have to search somewhere specific for a copy?

Indy the Paranoid Android?

Great video as usual, but are you sure that @ 6:43 that's Herbert Hoover? It doesn't look like him.

Looked more like J. Edgar Hoover, a couple of decades later

The Goethe's "Faust" episode. Mephisto's technological magic always results in new problems.

SO glad that I stayed through the end of the episode. You're a brave man, Indy - the things you do for entertainment!
