This year, the Dutch win the Indonesian War of Independence. Or do they? The video contains the answer of course, but it does show how different the history of Indonesia and the Dutch Empire could have been. And talking about alternative outcomes, this episode shows that there were not one but dozens of different available outcomes. At the start of 1948, everything was possible.
