It's officially December!!! Who else get's super excited around this time of year?

There really isn't much to this smoothie, but I want that to be the teaching point of this post.

I think that all too often, things are overcomplicated in the health and fitness space. Many influencers will try to convince you that you can't do this on your own. That you NEED their help. You NEED their supplements. You NEED their meal plans.

Technically, you don't even NEED me or my recipes. You CAN do this on your own.

As you can see with this smoothie, it's just a simple mix of ice, milk, protein powder, and some peppermint extract. But by adding a little whipped cream and a candy cane on the side, it's suddenly transformed into a festive smoothie that you can enjoy by yourself, or even give to your kids as a sweet high protein snack!

Remember, not everything has to be some elaborate and complex process. If there is one thing I hope you have learned from my content over the past couple of years, it's that keeping the process simple, makes it more enjoyable, and therefore more sustainable long term!

I kinda do this with the Legion Mint Choc Protein powder. I use skinny syrup (sugar free) to make it more pepperminty!
