I really hope everybody isn't burnt out on pumpkin flavors with Thanksgiving just passing!

This recipe was a long time in the making! I made about 5 different glazes before I finally found one I was happy with. But to take it a step further, I asked for some volunteers to make it in my Facebook group. After lots of great feedback, I think it's finally Patreon ready!

So here is the finalized version of this recipe. And I am really happy with it.

Before you make this, just know that it's not a super sweet recipe. It's kind of a mix of savory and sweet, but has a great pumpkin spice flavor. It's really easy to make it sweeter, simply by adding a little of your favorite syrup on top.

Some other possible modifications are maybe adding a little powdered sugar to the glaze (like the Blueberry Hawaiian Roll Bake), adding a scoop of your favorite protein powder to your glaze, or adjusting the seasonings up/down to fit your preference.

There's really so much you can do with this, and I'm excited to come up with more variations in the future. I am thinking a nice Apple Cinnamon flavor would go great around Christmas. What do  you think?

If you make modifications to this, I would love to hear what you did, and how they turn out!

The recipe does warn that it isn’t very sweet - it was a little too bitter for my taste. Adding some powdered sugar does help.

This was great. I love bread pudding and this is what it reminded me of. If it’s not sweet enough for you try sprinkling a packet of stevia that should do the trick. I will not add as much nutmeg next time it made it a tad bitter. I sprinkled walnuts on top before glaze then portioned out.
