I love Paul. I know he’s made a lot of mistakes and still has a lot more growing to do, but people forget how young he is and also the world that he grew up in which explains a lot of the poor decisions he’s made. Great character and clearly wants to be a good, loving father.

Absolutely love the line Ruijerd says as he leaves the bar to paul, especially knowing he lost his son because of the spear madness.

Bartender was the MVP this episode

About Vierra and Sierra, you are correct in that they are siblings. Anime doesn't mention this, but the reason Vierra dresses the way she does is to attract the gazes towards her instead of Sierra. They both ended up as sex slaves after being teleported and Sierra was mentally scarred as a result, and she's unable to handle men looking at her.

Some really good discussion here! This episode was sooo good. I dont know if Sauros being killed was hidden. It seemed like there was a lot of people watching that go down. I dont think there would be no rumors at the very least. I think its probably more likely that word hasnt gotten that far yet. Assuming Sauros was back in the kingdom they were all from, they are a whole continent away at this point. Its easy to forget since the time skips are so smooth and the story flows so well, but travel takes a long time here. Its not like our world where information spreads easily. Especially since we dont know how big a name Sauros is in other kingdoms. Its one thing to think the whole world would learn about the mana disaster (loads of people just showing up places confused helps in that aspect) but I dont know how fast one kingdoms politicking would spread to "common folk". (I am assuming rulers of other kingdoms would be more keyed in to that kind of information than an adventurer group that is focused on finding missing people everyewhere BUT their kingdom. Ha. Well sorry for the wall of text... Im looking forward to your next vids! (Especially Re Zero!)

Detail from the LN (no spoilers) Hilariously, Eris saw and read the posting from Paul in Zant Port. She is not surprised that her people may be missing still because of that. She never mentioned it to Rudy because she assumed he already figured it out.

Great reaction and thoughts as always!

So right again that the anime focuses mostly on Rudeus' perspective and the light novel has POV chapters. And a very important POV chapter I think that you may want to read AFTER SEASON 1 since the anime doesn't cover it (shame on them) is Volume 6 Chapter 13. I am sure a lot of people would agree with this and will be a VERY VERY GOOD SOURCE OF DISCUSSION. WHICH I LOVE YOUR DISCUSSIONS!

I think Eris point of view was not fitting, considering the strukture of the episode. I'm 100% certain that it will eventually be adopted in season 2.

Ralph Justin Peralta

While yeah I agree, since it is structured a s a seasonal anime. They can't fit in in anymore and need to have the last episode as a good stopping point. But they could have made it into another OVA. But hey, if they don't add it in season 2, this comment still stands. I hope they add it though so every reactor can actually see it.

You mentioned earlier that youre surprised he has to say the incantation for healing. In the LN they explain it as because in his previous life he has not a lot of knowledge of medicine. He doesn’t quite understand the mechanics of healing or treating someone, kind of like there’s a gap in his knowledge and that attributes to him actually having to say the incantation. In the LN he states that if he was a medical doctor it would have been easier to grasp the mechanics of “healing” he cannot technically “visualize” healing like he does with water and fire etc. it is a bit more complex.
