I'm rallying behind everyone hoping for more unconventional tf choices. It's a little more safe, but I'd be above the moon to see a manticore tf.

Any of these sounds good really. They could even be combined, although that would probably be longer than a typical Apsara work. Imagine an insecure member of a couple seeking a transformative curse to better appeal to their partner. They become a fantasy creature, and seduce their lover. They then have to deal with the other consequences of that change.
