Black Wyrmguard

Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement)

The Black Wyrmguard, masterfully crafted, resembling a black dragon caressing the wearer’s head with its protective form, its wings gently cradling the sides of the face without obstructing view.

Corrosive Aura. You may use an action to activate an aura of corrosive energy. For the next minute, any creature that hits you with a melee attack takes acid damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). Once used, this property can't be used again until the next dawn.

Dragon Soul. Whenever you make a saving throw against being frightened, you do so with advantage. Moreover, whenever a dragon within 60 feet of you roars, you may use your reaction to roar back, channeling the terrifying might of the black dragon; the dragon must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or be frightened of you until the end of its next turn. This effect pierces through the ancient resolve of dragons, ignoring their immunity to the frightened condition, should they have it.
