EDWARD: Mr. Jaan, or Yaan depending on where you're from, asked: Dear Riddler, I have noticed that you seem very proud of your intelligence, yet fail to mention any current exploits. I feel that these, too, would be things to boast about. I at first assumed you so ply didn't wish to spoil any surprises for the bat-brain, but have noticed that you often say you're trying to avoid contact with him. With no offense intended (though I'm fully aware that doesn't mean it won't be caused), have you gone soft?

Well, Mr. Jaan, I appreciate your concern for my current exploits, but a question like that leads me to wonder if you have the slightest idea of whom you are addressing? I can't help but feel that at this stage of the game, I shouldn't have to re-introduce myself. But those of you just joining the world we live in, have a seat. My name is Edward Nygma. Or Nashton, depending on where we met. I go by the moniker of "The Riddler". My general modus operandi is leaving intricate riddles that either give you a clue as to what I will be doing next, or provide insight as to why my crime in question has just been committed. At no point in my life have I ever blatantly mentioned my current exploits. I would be a dull Rogue indeed if I simply informed the masses of my crimed before I committed them, and I would be an absolute fool to boast about them, afterward. I may as well just put on a pair of handcuffs and wait for the authorities to collect me. I am speaking to you through tumblr - a publicly accessible website. And though I'm under the protection of LexCorp, I still would not think myself so exalted that I could detail my nefarious deeds and not expect repercussion - especially from our favourite nocturnal champion. So while I take no offense at the question, I hope you will take no offense when I point out how ludicrous a question that is. Not regaling the masses with my escapades isn't 'going soft', as to do so would be 'going dumb', and I have no intention of doing so in the foreseeable future.
