Revival of the Tyrant Dragon! (2)

A flash of light was released from the Tyrant Dragon's mouth!

The rocks that were exposed to the light were instantly vaporized rather than melted.

The power was unbelievably tremendous!

The sheer cliffs collapsed, leaving an endless trail of breath. It was more appropriate to call it a fusion flare than a fire breath.

"If I get hit by a direct hit from that kind of breath, my body will be vaporized! If that happens, it will be impossible to revive you!"

Come to think of it, three heroes were sacrificed when the previous saints defeated the Tyrant Dragon. I didn't realize it when I heard the story, but with the saint, they could be revived and there would be no such thing as sacrifices. Perhaps the three heroes were vaporized by this breath.

"Sophie---!!!"

Mari shouted, searching for Sophie with her eyes.

Fortunately, she had escaped a direct hit and was able to find her lying on the ground under the collapsed sediment. She must have been knocked unconscious by the impact of the direct hit from the rock.

It was the same with Gargantis. A strong impact would have knocked her unconscious, even with the grace of a saint. Fainting cannot be recovered by heal.

The situation was terrible!

Tyrant Dragon also caught Sophie. Mari has no way to save her. Mari had no way to save her or shoot her with the grace of a saint, but she was too far away from the high ground where she was now.

Just as she was pondering the situation, she heard a huge explosion right behind the Tyrant Dragon, which turned around to look around and warn the others.

Mari immediately understood that Harill was trying to distract the Tyrant Dragon with his bursting magic and use the opportunity to save Sophie. He would be in proximity to Sophie.

Harill quickly approaches Sophie, takes her in his arms, and positions himself to run away. But he is still too small to support Sophie as he should. The Tyrant Dragon's breath struck them both again!

"Ahh...!"

Mari covered her face with her hands.

Because the Tyrant Dragon's breath came as he turned around, his aim was inaccurate, and he escaped a direct hit this time as well. However, Harill was caught up in the boulder and fell down as well. The two were now unconscious in front of the Tyrant Dragon.

Mari quickly casts a spell on herself and scatters a glow of sacred magic around the area. Undead dislike sacred magic. A weak undead would run away, but a Tyrant Dragon would surely attack.

The thought was right, and the Tyrant Dragon ignored the two fallen men and looked at Mari.

"Okay, we've got our target. Now we just need to pull the Tyrant Dragon away from the two of them!"

Mari turned around and ran as fast as she could!

Sure enough, the Tyrant Dragon followed her. She had succeeded in leading it away.

Mari decided that she had pulled the Tyrant Dragon away from Sophie and Harill enough, and increased her running speed even more. They were safe, now it was her turn to outrun the Tyrant Dragon.

After running for quite a while, Mari felt safe enough to stop and look behind her.

However, he did not feel relieved to have escaped, but rather heavy-hearted. He would have to take countermeasures against that breath before the rematch.

"I don't know how to deal with a breath that vaporizes rocks and changes the entire terrain..."

As I was thinking about this, I suddenly heard a sound in the sky above me. A whiz, whiz, whiz... and Mari's surroundings suddenly became dark.

She rushes to look up at the sky, and there, spreading its wings, is the Tyrant Dragon swooping down!

"I didn't hear anything about Tyrant Dragons flying! Besides, it didn't have wings earlier!"

She exclaims in disgust, but it's too late, the Tyrant Dragon swoops down right in front of Mari.

"When you release your breath, there will be a slight gap. I have no choice but to shoot the saint's grace at that moment!"

But now the Tyrant Dragon has zero damage and is in perfect condition. Even with the grace of the saint, I don't know if I can take all of its strength. It was a game of luck.

"Come on!"

Mari shouted, and she braced herself!

---A few minutes passed.

The Tyrant Dragon did not fire its breath at all. On the contrary, there was no sign of violence. It just stared at Mari.

"What's wrong, it won't come at me!"

Mari glares at Tyrant Dragon. Mari senses something unnatural and carefully watches the Tyrant Dragon.

Then she noticed!

"Tyrant Dragon is being purified?"

The black aura that she had first seen from the high ground had diminished drastically.

Mari remembered something. It was the undead Princess Felicia. When she was reunited with her brother, her black aura had also decreased.

As Mari pondered this, the Tyrant Dragon cooed and growled sweetly. Then it rubbed its huge face against hers. At that moment, Mari suddenly realized!

This dragon is no enemy!

Mari opened her arms to the Tyrant Dragon and used the same magic she had used on Princess Felicia. She poured all the magic she had into the spell.

A powerful vortex of light enveloped the Tyrant Dragon, and it began to roar violently within.

"Hang in there!"

Tears welled up in Mari's eyes. Mari doesn't know why she cries when she sees the Tyrant Dragon in pain, but she can't stop the tears from flowing. She just couldn't stop the tears from pouring out.

The magic is over, and there is the Tyrant Dragon lying there. However, it is not wrapped in a black aura, but a shining golden form. It is breathing, but it seems to be unconscious, lying there quietly.

Soon, a strange phenomenon occurred.

Mari, who had been watching carefully, was suddenly struck by the illusion that space had been replaced. No, in fact, the space was actually switched. Instead of a golden dragon, there was a little girl lying on the ground.

She must have been about three years old, and strangely enough, she was wearing a white robe. When I approached the child and held her in my arms, I found that she weighed the weight of a child, not that of a dragon.

Mari carried the child on her back and started walking toward Sophie and Harill. After a long time, Mari finally reached them and breathed a sigh of relief.

Although they were unconscious, they had no serious wounds. They were sleeping comfortably in their sleep, probably due to the grace of the saint.

Mari, who had been watching them, runs out of magic power and her vision becomes blurry. She leaves the rest to Sarah, who falls on her back as if protecting the child on her back.
