The last thing that Matthew was aware of was that he was in his room watching TV.  He had been dressed in an old pair of boxers and a ripped white t-shirt.  When he wasn't working, he liked to relax in his underwear.

Now he was here.  He had been a city boy; he had never been in the country before.  Everything had changed in his perspective in a blink of an eye.  He was now dressed in a beautiful peach jumper over a white blouse.  He was wearing a stylish hat with a white feather that matched the rest of his outfit.  Matthew was wearing lacy gloves and carrying a large basket in the crook of his elbow.  But even though he had never been here before, it all felt natural to him.  Not just the surrounding, but his posture too.

He looked to his right and saw a farmhouse.  A moment later he walked towards it.  He knew that is where he belonged.  By the time he entered the house, his former life had been removed not just from Matthew's head, but from reality itself.  His life had changed in an instant, he would never wear pants again, and he would never leave the small community that he was part of.  Mattie thought of himself as a country girl through and through.  He was very modest and ultra-feminine. That would never change.

Another one of Doctor Hanson's rivals had disappeared.  Disappeared wasn't the correct word though.  As far as anyone else knew Doctor Matthew Zubick had never existed.
