Adam was so happy that he would go back to being a boy.  He knew what was about to happen, soon it would be Adam's time of the month.  That is if he couldn't get Samuel to take over.

For Adam, it was a miserable experience.  There was the pain, the bloating, the tension, the blood, and the sticking things into oneself.  Adam knew the pills didn't work very well and even if Adam used a tampon there would also be leaks and other problems.  Adam was happy that Samuel would take his place as 'the girl' from now on.

When Adam met Samuel in the hall and he asked how it was going and what it was like, Adam put on a big smile and lied through his teeth.
