Hey Squad, so as you know, I've spent the last 2 weeks diving super deep into the art of sculpting photo-realistic characters, and trying to learn as much as I can about the tricks of the trade for AAA modelers - These last 2 weeks have been a life changing experience, and to my surprise, the more I learned about ZBrush, the more I also learned about Blender, what makes it special, and in some cases better than ZBrush in certain areas that nobody really talks about -

Learning ZBrush sculpting from Blender sculpting is a big challenge, and I realized that the issues I was having were issues that pretty much every Blender > ZBrush user experienced, and I feel there is a SEVERE lack of short & quick tutorials that explain ZBrush in a way that makes sense to Blender Users specifically. While I am by no means an Expert in ZBrush yet, I do believe I know enough to save people hundreds of hours of wasted time when they transition from one to the other -

If it's alright with you guys, I'd like to postpone the original topics of this month (Lessons Learned, until we start the Unreal Series) and instead do a series on how to Transition from Blender > ZBrush while wasting as little time as possible.

Vote yay or nay down below, I'm also perfectly content with going with the original plan this month, and Blender/ZBrush next month - Right now Zbrush is just fresh in my mind, so I'm bringing it up now -

I gotta say, I tried Zbrush for a month, and I could barely get a straight answer for anything. If you made a tutorial series on Zbrush and you prove that it is amazing in a specific use case, I'll finally be able to add Zbrush onto my repertoire. Or I might sit on Blender for all of my sculpting, since I'm already used to it, and I can *hope* to eventually get similar features as Zbrush.

We'll talk about this topic more as we get further into the series, but I do mirror a lot of what you said as for the straight answer problems. The lack of straight tutorials on this software is kinda baffling to me, and while I think it is amazing long term, the short term struggle of getting used to it is a big problem - Of the bad though, I'll tell you right now, it's perfectly fine if you do everything in Blender, ZBrush makes things easier and faster once you get used to it, but that doesn't mean you can't do it in Blender, just takes more time - At the end of the day, people don't care what program you used as long as the art looks good, so either one is fine in my opinion -

If there are things you have learned for blender could you do a blender only users video? I doubt I will ever look at zbrush. Just can't warrant the cost as a hobbiest
