Alright Squad, since the vote was approved, we will be pivoting from the 'lessons learned' series to 'Sculpting Transitioning' this month - Ever since the conclusion of the game project, I have been swimming through the new software and learning as much as I can as fast as I can, and it's been an eye opening experience. I've also been contacted by several other Blender users trying to learn Zbrush who all share my same experience which is, basically, being utterly confused and lost just trying to decode what we don't know lol. Zbrush doesn't quite have the massive, robust, and active community that we have in Blender, and because of that, free, unpaid, reliable learning resources are fairly hard to come by leaving most of us teaching ourselves in the dark -

In the past 2 weeks, I have created over 150 "mini" self tutorials covering what I learn about zBrush as I learn new things each day, and it has gotten to the point where I do feel a responsibility to share what I've found with other Blender users who are also in the same lost boat trying to figure out this software -

Something I would like to say is I do believe this series will be extremely valuable even to those of you who work exclusively in Blender. In fact, I think if we as a community want Blender to start catching up to Zbrush, it's imperative that we understand how it works, and what makes it so good for sculpting. I really do believe the more we know about how the industry software works, the better and faster we can improve Blender. So, even if you never plan to use Zbrush, I think there is a lot to gain from just observing the differences in the two software, at a minimum if anyone ever asks what the "real" differences between sculpting in Blender and Sculpting in Zbrush are, you will know exactly what you're talking about, and how to explain or demonstrate it clearly to others with these videos -

So, thank you to everyone who voted - I am expecting it to be fairly quiet and not as popular my other videos. But, that's OK, because I know it will make a world of difference for the people going through the same journey as the one trying to navigate right now - If I can save people the trouble that I just went through last week, I think that alone will make the series worthwhile. So, here we go, I'll see ya in the next video!

zBrush is as obtuse as it is powerful, lol. I think you'd really benefit from learning Marvelous Designer too btw - for clothing your characters. So it could be worth looking at that workflow before committing to sculpting any clothing too. Keep up the cool work!

I second this, looking good!

If only MD or CLO were not payware or so expensive, I'd totally agree. I had MD early when it was purchasable but they they saw Maya, we all know what happened after that.
