Mission Impossible 2 - Patreon Version

This movie is also why we have Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The guy who plays Ambrose, Dougray Scott, was cast as Wolverine, but had to pull out because shooting on this movie ran long. Jackman was a last minute replacement

Thandiwe Newton is such a badass! She's great in Westworld, too.

That knife to the eye stunt at the end of the film was REAL. Really Tom Cruise, real knife, really an inch from his eye. They put the knife on a cable rig, measured the cable to have it go taut exactly an inch from where Tom's eye would be, and Tom instructed the stunt guy to stab at his eye with full force so it would look as real as possible. Dude is fucking crazy.

Some suggestions for scary movies: Get out Us Midsommar 10 Cloverfield lane The purge

The series starts to get really good from Mission Impossible 3 and up.

Can't wait to see the MI3 and beyond...just like I can't wait to finish the Planet of the Apes trilogy! :)

Since you siad you read every comment: I just wanted to say that I really sincerely appreciate you guys. Like the amount of times you guys made me laugh on a bad day is insane. And that specifically includes your goofy off hand comments and jokes George :) As I said in another comment on here before I think this Patreon subscription would be worth it for the pre-movie goofyness you guys get up to already. So thanks for doing this and don't try to let the negative stuff get to you too much. <3

Commenting on your intro: don’t give those folks any power George. You’re satiating them by letting them know that their comments hurt even when you know well enough to just ignore them. Both of you should be very confident with what you’ve built here. The loyalty of your followers is evidence. The things they’re hating on you for is most likely just a mirror to things that they hate within themselves. There are so many outlying factors that can play into when people make comments like that — you don’t have the context to their mood or mental state and it’s important to realize that. I would say that a huge majority of the time it actually has nothing to do with you and everything to do with what’s going on with them at that moment. Keep doing you. Be more confident in yourself. Honestly, that’s the only time I kind of roll my eyes at either of you is when you’re not being nice to yourselves and being confident. It’s such an important attribute to build on. It opens up so many opportunities and makes life more enjoyable. You have nothing to be ashamed of. You guys are funny and kind. The best kind of people. ✌🏼&❤️

Had no interest in this particular reaction (didn't like the film) but after reading comments I wanted to watch the opening talk...and def appreciated. Human nature that there can be 100 positive things but the 2 most negative horrible things are always the loudest people. At the end of the day if someone doesn't like the style they should just not watch but of course some just love to be hateful. I appreciate you read all the comments because, 1. it is good to see theh positive things, 2. I appreciate that you read actual contstructive critique which I know I've given and I've seen good stuff from others and I like knowing you read my suggestions on random draws etc (even if you think all my ideas are dumb..ha). I don't get why peeps would watch if they don't like the reaction style...are there times George has made a joke at a certain time and I roll my eyes...sure...but that is like I would do with certain friends as well...basically a likable guy and sometimes I'm like..Ok enough...like Simone does..ha... there was a reactor who I watched a few of her things and subbed to her..but then after about watching 6 or 7 more vids her yelling just got on my nerves..so I simply unsubbed...simple...and btw she seemed like the most lovely person..but she just yells a lot during reactions..ha... if someone hates the dad jokes...then unsub..simple...you guys do a great job...but I'm still gonna keep suggesting my ideas you probably hate about polls and ways to get lesser known movies watched..haha...keep up the great work y'all...love your banter and you both seem like very lovely people

Love you George. Love you Simone. Like Rebecca said recently in Ted Lasso: “Fuck the haters”. I’ll get the to video soon but I saw an abundance of comments for this post and had to see what the fuss was about. Keep up the good work, you guys are doing great.

Also, the MI movies get better from here, each is better than the previous.

May I suggest that when you do a franchise you don't look up the cast or posters (since you know the main actors anyway and sometimes seeing a cast list sometimes gives away certain surprises or twists) so you can be surprised when the actors appear like you guys did accidentally on this one cuz it was so entertaining to see your shock when they appeared in the movie

The very end of the film felt like an homage to Seurat's "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte."

I'm sorry you guys have to deal with so many shitty people. I have some experience in this too, where it's the few negative messages that "haunt" you. It was putting me in a pretty bad place mentally, trying to figure out why people were so shitty/angry with me. Trying to understand or empathise with them was bad for my mental health. In the end, I learned to start thinking of those angry people as a different species than me. Some lower lifeform that's incapable of compassion or remorse. It gave my brain the excuse not to put myself in their shoes anymore. Probably not the healthiest of coping mechanisms, but it's been very helpful for me, so... 🤷‍♂️

The channel wouldn't work with just one of you two. It's the mix of personalities and humor that makes it a success. That said, you can't please everyone. Don't even try. It's impossible.

Seeing you guys laugh brightens my whole day. Just know that there are a lot of people out here who like you and think you are awesome.

Awesome is their middle name

I love you just the way you are dude. Be you. You're awesome. Especially your pervy jokes. I look forward to those moments in movies when I can count on you to notice the naughty moments and make a comment or joke. It always makes me laugh. Don't pay attention to the assholes. Love you guys. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face, and making a lonely introvert feel like I have friends to hang out with and watch these movies with. Keep on being excellent, and party on dudes. :)

I started watching your reactions and eventually joined patreon specifically because your dynamic and both of your personalities for me work really well together and you both always come across as genuine. Keep going because it’s what most of us are here for!

Glad you liked the campy nature of this particular entry, and it is very fun, but it definitely feels a bit out of step with the rest. M:I III is one of my faves especially the villain and the actor’s performance. And you definitely HAVE to watch Face/Off for another fantastic John Woo film with Nicolas Cage and John Travolta.

Lou Gallucci

You need to watch Free Solo ;)

Zeroplue

Don't listen to the haters, George. We love both you and Simone!
