They already did it a couple weeks ago. The first season of Ted Lasso won, and then they'll start Breaking Bad after that.

Amazing show! I was glad to be able to watch it again with Cinebinge! Also, not sure if you have gotten there yet, but Season 1 of Breaking Bad is only 7 episodes, so if you feel like going straight into Season 2 after you finish Season 1 that will be understandable.

hey I really loved yalls reaction to this series and really enjoy watchin yall but i just dont see a whole bunch of reactions to movies i enjoy. no disrespect but i think it would be dope if yall added some more color to what yall watch. I cant speak for all black folk but i like watchin things with more black folk in it an yall dont got much of that. Yall have the wire, friday and training day if you want to count that. thats no disrespect an i love watchin yall but i was jus hopin yall could get some color in yalls lineup. maybe if one of every 10 or something like that was black folk movies. Crooklyn, clockers, Mo better blues, malcolm X, juice, judas and the black messiah, queen and slim. please dont take it like im not enjoying yall cause i am or that im tellin yall what to do cause im not, im just hoping me sayin sum could help. anyway, thanks for ya time.

Marlo is like Avon was. He is a soldier thru and thru. I think the scene clearly shows that he enjoyed it. Part of his pride is being that soldier. That is why he got so mad when he found out what Omar was saying on the streets. His crown is his name ringing in the streets. He didn't care about the money or the drugs it was more of a means to an end. Remember when Avon and Stringer talked about how they started out in season three? Stringer wants the store and Avon wants the Ak. Same as how Avon didn't care what the war with Marlo was going to do to his drug business. He wanted his name to ring. Just like Marlo. They were true soldiers.

Loved watching The Wire with you two, i consider it the best tv show of all time (but LOST is my favorite). Anytime I rewatch this show I struggle with Bubbles (who is my favorite character), rewatching him go through everything he goes through (especially at the slower pace) is hard to watch and I was thankful that I could always jump ahead and watch him walking up those stairs. Some Wire related movie recommendations if you are interested: Spotlight, and Shattered Glass are great movies about reporters. The main character of Shattered Glass was an inspiration for Templeton and was mentioned in the show. Also “Gone Baby Gone” stars both Amy Ryan (who almost won an Oscar) and Michael Kenneth Williams in a smaller role.

Really enjoyed watching The Wire again with you guys, its probably the best written show ever & most realistic, right down to the finale itself, bittersweet but very true, it shows how everything repeats itself with the next generation of people until the system changes which it wont of course. I strongly recommend you watch this youtuber and this video, https://youtu.be/tlYDCuJ-c8s he does a great breakdown and analysis of why the show is so good, he also has a bunch of videos on The Wire, well worth watching. Look forward to watching Breaking Bad with you, A lot of people have that as the greatest show of all time and I cant really argue but The Wire would be right up there as well.

And on the note about Templeton, since you also mentioned Spotlight: the actor who played Scott wrote the screenplay (and won the Oscar) for Spotlight.

Thing about Daniels being fine on a lawyer's salary, it seems like he became a junior Assistant District Attorney which doesn't pay all that well, probably far less than he would've made as police commissioner.

Really enjoyed watching you guys watch this. Was the third time I've watched the series all the way through. it remains the most comprehensive portrayal of modern society and it's achievements and failures. Sadly, in the nearly 20 years since it aired, I can't think of a single aspect of life that has improved from a sociological standpoint.

I've put off watching this for a week now because I don't want the show to end. I'll catch it at some point this week, but just want to say thanks guys, for giving me an excuse to revisit the series. Genuinely a highlight of the week to carve out time for it every Tuesday.
