The last polls winner was Stand By Me and it will be ready for Patreon this Saturday! Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!

Remember, you can vote for multiple films!
Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Yes...Poseidon Adventure...the beginning of the Disaster film... and it is still one of the best

Jeez where’s the Chinatown love?

REDR58

A lot of people have a problem with Roman Polanski movies since he raped a child (and possibly a number of women).

James Falato

Looking towards October & Halloween & You Reacting to 2001 'The Others" about... Well... the title is a Good Clue...

Anonymous

A lot of people need to learn to separate the art from the artist.

Andrew

Almost certainly to do with the fact that TBR Schmitt just reacted to it this week and most viewers won't be interested in watching another reaction of it so soon

Huckleberry lobo

Gotta do Die Hard with a Vengeance at some point. Samuel L. Jackson as Zeus riding shotgun with McClane who's dealing with a real bad hangover- all while trying to figure out how many went to St. Ives in a deadly game of "Simon Says" .💥🔥🔥

Steve Mercier

Chinatown is a classic, and The Big Short is a spectacular movie...but my love for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is, well...eternal...(*cough*)...sorry.

Patrick York

Need a football poll for football season

Anonymous

I know y’all are Canadian, but The Patriot for the 4th of July would probably do good numbers, and it’s a really good story

Brendan Rafferty

Second poll here i’ve seen where Deep Impact is losing. That’s a shame. So good and perfect for reaction videos

Mike Minerals

YES. It's like I can't take a dump without getting an alert about another Chinatown reaction! So sick of them!

Happy Hanukkah

"won't be interested in watching another reaction of it so soon" This runs counter to my experience, which is that reactions tend to strongly bandwagon.

Happy Hanukkah

The Big Short leads me to once again nominate Margin Call (2011). I am doing so not only because of my own appreciation of the movie, but prompted by George's own comments in the past. (I unfortunately cannot elaborate due to some possible spoilage.)

Anonymous

I feel like Moneyball is one of those special movies where you don't have to know baseball or sports at all and it breaks down a deeply interesting thing in baseball.

Anonymous

Every one of these is a great choice, but Chinatown is a masterpiece of cinema, arguably the best thing to come out of the golden age of 70s film-making.

YoureMrLebowski

i liked American Gangster, but i always prefer a first watch for both.

Michael Buhl

I think both George and Simone would like Network, which is a movie about TV news in the 1970s. It is an Oscar winning movie and particularly prescient.

redddfer44

It's kinda sad seeing them both love pre-80s movies for their calmer pacing, top-notch writing, amazing cinematography, and killer acting... and probably because those films do relatively badly on Youtube, they rarely end up watching them.

Brandon Meng

I've been spamming Eternal Sunshine for as long as I can remember on this channel and now I don't know what to do with myself. Hopefully it holds out for the win... I caaaaannot wait for this reaction!

Kelly Pickard

The Big Short is one of my favorite movies ever, and it's so much more viscerally entertaining than you expect it to be. Star-studded cast, really compelling subject matter, and some of the best comedy and drama sequences of any movie from the past ten years. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

Michael Buhl

A very business-way to look at it is to consider videos of movie reactions likely to get views (reactions to recent action movies and such) as paying for an exploration into classic cinema. The views they get from reactions to popular movies cover any deficits from reactions to movies that are more obscure. However, that assumes that George and Simone are making these decisions themselves instead of letting polls decide. The fact is that most Cinebinge viewers are not likely to have seen classic movies from the '70s or earlier means those movies are less likely to win polls. On a side note, I know that taking a business approach to all of this ties into what Network is all about -- I'm aware of the irony.

keeperofthegloom

Surprised (pleasantly) to see Moneyball in second!

Requiem for a Dream and Natural Born Killers are phenomenal movies with way too little attention from reactors.

Liquor & Swords

I may have mentioned a few of these before, but here's my list: Trainspotting Bram Stoker's Dracula Dazed and Confused Lost Boys Last of the Mohicans Sling Blade The Crow Ladyhawke The War (1994) Kingdom of Heaven (Director's Cut)

rycolaa

sing street begin again eurovision a knight's tale the replacements hunt for the wilderpeople eurotrip The Italian Job (2003) How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

TheSentry77

Hey guys! Quick recommendations here: - Free Guy - The Sandman (as a Patreon Exclusive perhaps)

Rachel W

I've suggested Network, too. It's just amazingly jaw droppingly prescient--more relevant now than when it was made. I think they'd love it and it would make for a good react.

Rachel W

It's a blend of the incredible writing of American Charlie Kaufman and the amazing direction of French director Michel Gondry. Such a great creative collaboration.

Anonymous

I really liked Sandman, and a fantasy horror would be an nice option. But I am worried episode 6 would break Simone forever.

Richard Maurer

Sandman is the most criminally overlooked show in the whole reactorverse. Only 1 reaction channel I follow did a reaction to it, and I follow a lot of reaction channels. Can't wait for season two.

Anonymous

Free Guy...just epic

YoureMrLebowski

The Mist (2007) would be a great movie to watch you watch.

Rachel W

Natural Born Killers and True Romance, both written by Tarantino, would make great react videos.

Calum Grace

Voted for that CHINATOWN noir meself. Was also just thinking, since y'all have seen THE SHINING it could be cool to check out DOCTOR SLEEP, specifically the superior Director's Cut which is actually widely available, it's excellent.

Chase Schleich

Agreed. I've seen that film get suggested a ton over the last few weeks. I don't know if Simone could survive the ending lol.

Michael Kemmet

Wow. I voted for Moneyball because I thought it was going to be a throwaway vote. I did not expect it to pop up in 2nd place(as I'm typing this). I'm not sure I want it to win because, even though it's a great movie, I don't know if Simone and George have even a basic understanding of baseball. While you don't have to be an expert in baseball by any means(I'm certainly not), you do need at least the basic understanding to not be totally confused for chunks of the movie. Might not make for the best reaction. Oh, well, it'll all work out. :)

Cool, I'll have to watch stand by me with cinebinge. I dont think i ever watched it right through or I may have forgotten it, my brother whos eleven years older than me grew up with the movie and loved it. My brother grew up a child in the early 80's whereas I grew up as a child in the early 90s, he reccomended this movie to my nephews who were born in the early 2000s.

EMB

War Games is a personal favorite of mine, so I had to vote for it.

PickettsChargingPort

If war games had to lose to something, Eternal Sunshine is a good winner

Simon Clifton

If you like a nice indie game that taps into the aesthetic of WarGames, I thoroughly recommend Defcon by Introversion Software.

bloosmoke

ahh dont make me watch eternal sunshine again, movies brutal

Adam Wetstein

All good choices. I like that most people are being very respectful and understanding that this just movies

Anonymous

Seeing that Eternal Sunshine is propably going to win anyway, I am voting for Deep Impact. A in my opinion fantastic disaster movie! It was released pretty close to Armageddon and is very often overseen.

Brandon Meng

As Eternal Sunshine looks to be the winner and it'd probably fall in this category, can we get a poll exclusively for rom-coms? Forgetting Sarah Marshall About Time Love Actually Midnight in Paris Silver Linings Playbook 500 Days of Summer I wonder if these would be popular with your audience on this channel?

Efrain Zavala

looking forward to this. May I suggest "The Room" and "Napoleon Dynamite." Thanks!

Anonymous

This looks interesting, next time If I may, suggest, "Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas", Trainspotting", David Lynch's " Lost Highway", & Gregg Araki's " Nowhere "

Anonymous

I also forgot to mention if I may recommend the Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions cuz u guys only watched the first one a while ago, lol

Odd Thomas

After Stand By Me I hope you'll be returning to IT: Chapter 2!

redddfer44

Since you liked "Stand by Me", I'm going to re-recommend "American Graffiti", a coming-of-age classic by none other than George Lucas.

Anonymous

Updated recommendations: Grosse Point Blank (at this point i think ya’ll are avoiding it, specifically, because it’s been suggested so much :D) Maverick (Not that one. The other one from 1994) Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) The Nice Guys Run Ronnie Run (because I like to watch the world burn)

Odd Thomas

Eternal for the win, but Deep Impact deserves to be higher; I rewatched it recently with PIB and it's so much better than you remember

Anonymous

Watch IT 2 pleeeeease !!! and the others lethal weapon!

JayF

I've been asking for GPB for a while now. I'm glad to see we are forming a posse.

JayF

Some stuff from my favorite movies list you've yet to react to - Dances with Wolves Hell or High Water Caddyshack Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Dead Poets Society Awakenings Sleepers (fair warning - has a very disturbing first half, I only ever watch the 2nd half now) The Lost Boys The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) Field of Dreams Heat Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) A Fish Called Wanda Absolute Power The Pelican Brief The Insider A Beautiful Mind

Anonymous

The Outsiders is also a really good movie imo

WayneC

Could you do some legal dramas? Some suggestions of movies based on John Grisham novels. The Rainmaker - Matt Samon, Danny DeVito, Claire Danes, Jon Voight The Pelican Brief - Julia Roberts, Denzel Washington The Firm - Tom Cruise, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Gene Hackman The Client - Tommy Lee Jones, Susan Sarandon A Time to Kill - Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson

Brandon Meng

+1 for The Client, what an underrated classic. All these movies did really well too.

RedactedRaptor

Eternal sunshine is such a great movie.

Anonymous

I would highly recommend watching The Others, such a great film.
