The last polls winner was The Last Action Hero and it will be ready for Patreon this Saturday! Until then, here is this week's poll with some of the movies suggested by you guys!

Remember, you can vote for multiple films!
Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Grand Moff Slackin'

Y’all should watch the BlackBerry movie, because Canada! Unless you already have, and if so, how dare you!

Anodyne

If the Blues Brothers gets up, I think the theatrical version is better paced than the extended cut that came out in the late 90's. Others may differ though.

Anonymous

Kind of 80s adjacent, I’d like to restate my recommendation to go back to the MCU and watch the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Especially with the 3rd one coming out recently. You guys are the best.

James Falato

If You heard fire crackers popping, don't worry... Twas Simply My Gray Cells Colliding Over Your Great Choices... GOOD STUFF...

Anonymous

I've watched Big basically once a year since I first saw it in theaters when I was 7. Couldn't click the vote fast enough.

Anonymous

One of the best polls you've had in a while! Obviously I've been requesting Stand By Me a few times lately so I'm hoping that will win, but honestly I'd be happy with almost all of these.

Lucifer Moon

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Some worthwhile 80s movies to add to the lists... "Heathers", "Monty Python's The Meaning of Life", "The Outsiders"

Brendan Rafferty

Blues Brothers is losing to Stand By Me?

JayF

The Outsiders is very good and has A LOT of big stars before they were big stars. Heathers is very good but the younger folks will say it hasn't aged well. The Meaning of Life is great Python.

JayF

They are both very good films for different reasons. Hopefully it's close enough that they feel obligated to do both.

Anonymous

would really love to see you guys react to "Clue" - Tim Curry and "Oscar" - Sly Stallone, both are halarious!

Rachel W

"Prizzi's Honor" and "Dangerous Liaisons" are two great 80's films to consider next time.

Daniel Gurney

Now that I know the appropriate place for my recommendations carlitos way and/ or natural born killers are my 2 favorites. I think you guys would enjoy them.

howtocookazombie (Stan)

"Ghost in the Shell", which you mentioned in your Akira reaction video :)

Liquor & Swords

I'm thinking "Last of the Mohicans" and "The War".

Chase Lonnergan

You can't go wrong with Beverly Hills Cop 1&2, Short Circuit, Clue, and The Count of Monte Cristo (Guy Pierce version)! Just saying...

Once you finish the wire, a quick series to knock out would be station eleven - last of us-like. Also, the leftovers is a great watch. For movies, parenthood, into the wild, and up in the air.

Odd Thomas

I am once again asking for Danny Boyle's Sunshine ;)

Anonymous

@cinebinge maybe try more HK cinema for simone and if George hasn't seen? Definitely War Kong Rai (chunking express, in the mood for love).

Anonymous

Also for more gritty or memorable experiences: fear and loathing in las vegas, enter the void, Requiem for a dream, prisoners, RRR, Mulholland drive, lost highway, city of god, drive.

Danny Bryant

Recommending. Donnie Yen: Enter the Fat Dragon

sol stapleton

Please do the rocky horror picture show

JayF

Love the movie and would love a reaction to it. It's another like The Blues Brothers though where George is going to be stressed trying to edit it because of the music.

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

recommending almost famous and Rudy. they weren't made in the 80s.. but for future polls

TheSentry77

I'd love it if you guys would react to The Menu. Love you guys! Oh hey George, dunno what heavy metal subgenres of heavy metal you're into, but BTBAM is in town next week, got my ticket, how 'bout u ?

Kangdarius

Since I didn’t vote in this poll at all. I just thought of a movie y’all could watch. A movie called the butterfly effect with Ashton Kutcher. His best movie imo by a mile. It’s a little gem of a movie in my eyes. Either ending will do. If u want it super grim go with directors cut version. If you want it neutral go with the theatrical cut. Both are good to me

Michael Robayo

I cannot wait for Last Action Hero!

Hyperdryve

My 80s movie suggestions are Earth Girls Are Easy, The Money Pit, and Throw Momma from the Train

Anonymous

TV show has got to be After life with Ricky Gervais. Simone will laugh & cry in equal measure. George will do the same, but then reflect with some profound thoughts. Thats how it works right 🤔😅😪

Anonymous

Raging Bull or Rain man.

sheriffjt

Saw Butterfly Effect recommended above, thought I would recommend some films in the same genre: Timecrimes, 12 Monkeys, & Primer

John Richards

Here's a poll suggestion (I call this "first thing, let's NOT kill all the lawyers") "The Verdict" "And Justice for All" "The Rainmaker" "Presumed Innocent" "Erin Brockovich" "The Client" "The Firm"

Anonymous

As a comedy, I would once again recommend "Undercover Blues" (1993). Sadly, it doesn't seem to be available digitally anywhere I can find... I can't really put "The Fountain" (2006) in a genre. Somebody help me here. But you should absolutely watch it. Finally, I know musicals can be especially difficult for Youtube edits, but I think you both would like "Repo: The Genetic Opera" (2008). This one's a bit polarizing; people seem to either love it, or *really* hate it. It's definitely a thing.

nossieboy

Wow Blue Bros and Stand By Me neck and neck

Lyonheart86(BryonH)

also requesting Remember The Titans and Miracle . really great inspirational and moving movies . both about coming together through adversity

Liquor & Swords

You know what, to hell with it; please react to "Ladyhawke"!

dieselbeast

Just gonna throw out random suggestions within the gangster genre (assuming y'all haven't seen them in you personal time) lol maybe one of them could be reacted too or at least put on a poll later this year, Scarface (Al Pacino) Carlitos way (Al Pacino) A Bronx tale (Robert de Niro)

YoureMrLebowski

one of those rare comments were they list seven movies and they're all good. 👍🏼

Happy Hanukkah

Scarface is an obvious nominee I can't object to, but I've always much preferred Carlito's Way.

Odd Thomas

Aaand it's Stand by Me by a whisker

Brendan Rafferty

Great movie… the electronic soundtrack seemed out of place. Otherwise, really great story. When my wife worked in the day and I worked at night, and we would only see each other briefly in between, I used to joke that our marriage was like Ladyhawke

JayF

Based on a true story movie poll suggestion - Hacksaw Ridge (2016) Serpico (1973) A Beautiful Mind (2001) Moneyball (2011) Glory (1989) Dunkirk (2017) Rain Man (1988) (Character was based on a real person not the story) Cry Freedom (1987)

John

Could i please recommend house of 1000 corpses and the devils rejects

silverarrow06

Man, three lousy votes! 😂🙈 But then again, I like both movies very much, so I'm hoping to see you react to both soon...😄

sheriffjt

Big fan of several of those! Funny, on first read I thought it said "Heartbreak Ridge" and I thought, wait, that's based on a true story?

JayF

Normally if it;'s that close they go ahead and do both. I love both movies so I'm hoping for them to do that.

Anonymous

Can I request Saving Mr.Banks? Tom Hanks does a pretty decent Walt Disney.

Scott McClintock

Recos: Grosse Pointe Blank (adding to the hundreds already suggesting it) The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Aside from those.. how about dipping into Simone’s wheelhouse a bit more and get some Star Trek in the mix? Maybe 2-4?

Michael Grooms

You should watch all of these films. They are all outstanding.

Anonymous

Watch a movie in which TOM HANKS plays cat and mouse game with LEO DI CAPRIO and is directed by STEVEN SPIELBERG. It's called "Catch me if you can".

jmundt33a

That was a tight race between the top 2.

Tyler Foster

I said it on the new poll but I just want to reiterate my support for you watching both of the top two here. I feel the odds are pretty good, I mean, three votes! Wow! (I had mistakenly thought Blues already won!) Anyway, I figure it can't hurt to add to the choir.

Happy Hanukkah

Otherwise people might start thinking that they actually like Illinois Nazis...

Anonymous

There's actually a lot of accurate Easter eggs in that movie.

Jinyatta

All greats, but I'd like to throw out 1982's "The Dark Crystal" and 1979's "The Warriors" for future consideration

rick movienerd

Here are some suggestions for movies The Accountant, Eight legged freaks, Down Periscope

Sarah

I grew up on The Dark Crystal, seconding that one :D

Astraeos

3 votes away, they definitely gotta watch Blues Brothers too
