If you guys want a WW2 film with a very unique perspective, check out Empire Of The Sun. Spielberg directing, Malkovich acting, and a very young Christian Bale. Set almost entirely in China.

This. Is. Excellent. Please continue. Just echoing everything said above, mainly: really glad you’re following up on films, in general, having the considered perspective and summary on films after a certain period of time is super interesting. Also, responding to the comments is great. Anyway, a meaningful, relevant and welcome addition to the Cinebinge…err..stable? Portfolio? Thingy? Empire? Whatever you call it. Time stamps are essential (thank you and Happy Hanukkah), watch more Jackie Chan films! And you might as well finish off the Nolan films, right?
