Hey folks, we just want to take the time out and address an on-going issue we're noticing more and more in the comments; the issue of Patrons insulting, berating or belittling others.

We understand that movies and shows can be very personal and special to the individual, hell that's probably why you searched for reactions in the first place, cause you want to see what other people thought about your favorite film/moment.

However, keep in mind that if someone else does not like what you love, it is not an open invitation to insult them or belittle them, whether directly or passive aggressively. That is not them targeting you specifically, they're not shitting on your childhood or best memories. What is special to you remains special to you and no one can take that from you, we're all open to discussions as long as it remains civil and peaceful.

Those who choose to actively insult, berate or belittle others will be issued warnings publicly in the comment (every comment posted we get an email, so we see all of them. May not be immediate, but we read all of it), those who do not heed the warnings will be permanently banned.

We want this platform to remain pleasant for everyone, the world has enough ugly in it as is. Let's keep this place an escape from all that out there, and be excellent to each other.

Thank you.

I know this may be a weird place to ask but what is you guys' favourite reaction on here ? As I said in another comment I discovered lots of great movies and would love to find some more great ones so please let me know :)

People arguing in the comments? that definitely should be called out and stopped, it's ridiculous that people would get so heated on a Patreon comment section. Criticising movies we dislike? I dunno, I honestly don't see the harm. Obviously I would never call someone stupid for liking a movie I dislike, but if I was just talking about the specific movie and the problems I have with it, I'd just consider that a part of the discussion. George & Simone do it too, like when they talk about Speed 2 for example, it's just a bit of fun! it's hardly something to get upset about. Some movies have a lot of problems and it's satisfying to express that and see that some people share your opinions, other movies are just fun to poke fun at! I would hope the latter example isn't being lumped in with the former. Obviously tone is hard to get across in text sometimes, but if I ever make a comment insulting a movie, I do it without malice and I certainly never mean to offend people.

LOL, I never really read the comments until now. I don't get it, I love the channel, and George and Simone are a hoot, but what are we commenting on? The movie? Their reaction to the movie, or our reaction to their reaction to the movie.... I got lost somewhere. I like the stuff, hence here for the stuff. Keep doing the stuff please. Thank you. :)

As a new Patron of yours I really appreciate that you're keeping an eye on the insults and such that occur in the comments section. I recently left another reactor's patreon and one of several reasons that I left was that people were allowed to throw around insults over the most minor of differences ( I was called a idiot and a psycho for daring to say that a lot things in Harry Potter were "borrowed" from LotR - which is literally true). For clarification, would actual non-insulting criticism of the actions of non-specific commenters be considered a problem? For instance I find people who delete their comments during a discussion especially irritating, and I will sometimes comment on it. Would this be considered a problem?

A good rule of thumb: Before you speak (comment) ask yourself if what you are going to say is true, is kind, is necessary, is helpful. If the answer is no, maybe what you are about to say should be left unsaid. I very rarely comment online particularly on what art I love or despise because my opinion isn't necessary to anyone. If I have something that might be educational or contributes something new to the discourse, then maybe because it may be helpful.

Simone and george, i'm glad yall addressed this because i rarely comment because i'm always afraid i might get hostility because i don't hold back my criticisms, but i'm always respectful of others . so thank u for all yall do for us.
