I must make the obligatory noting that the other teams in the arena were the parties from the 80s cartoon and the original Baldur's Gate video game.

Hugh Grant was the rogue class in this movie.

Dream cast: Warlock - Aubrey Plaza Artificer - Brandon Routh (or Robert Downey Jr if you got the big bucks) Monk- Scott Adkins, but CGI’d as a Tortle, and voiced by Sam Regal Cleric - Ruth Negga Wizard - Michael Cera Fighter - Terry Crews Ranger - a harengon cgi acted and voiced by Laura Bailey

Byron

I can’t figure out how to edit on my phone, but the spelling is Sam Riegel.

I respectfully disagree...he didn't show any particular skill at anything beyond persuasion and deception; he felt very much like an intelligent yet unpowered NPC to me.

Zenk was very much a DMPC - much stronger than the party, showed up to look badass for a couple encounters, but mysteriously had to leave and let the party face the big bad themselves because he was "on a different path" (despite the fact that he was LITERALLY an anti-Szasz Tam Thayan).

I mean, it doesn't matter if you agree, according to the directors and all of the media around the movie Hugh Grant was the rogue.

Not say anything and just watch the movie? How dare you?! Dance, monkeys, dance!

Ree raw, in love with the film. It does things that dont rhyme. But with hope strangers read this in time

Thought it was a ok movie. Feel like if it came out a decade or so ago I would’ve liked it more. It was cool for what it was.

JoeNotCharles

He was the rogue in the original party, but his player quit the game, so the DM brought the character back as a villain with NPC stats.

Hyperdryve

I’m waiting to watch this one until I’ve seen the movie first. Hope it’s good!

Would love to see you two playing Divinity OS 2. Its very like DnD. A long rpg with coop options where all fights are turn based <3

Killing time on a Sunday morning and decided to re-watch this reaction. If you guys liked Chris Pine in this I can't recommend Hell or High Water enough. Written by the same guy who wrote Sicario and it's arguably at least as good. Also starring Jeff Bridges and Ben Foster.
