Maybe try Loaded Weapon (primarily a Lethal Weapon spoof) with Emilio Estevez and Sam Jackson? On a side note, Emilio was married to Paula Abdul, so she was Charlie's sister in law.

Hi George and Simone, If you'd like a really underrated but great Spoof /Parody movie, Black Dynamite is definitely a big one. It makes fun of 70's Blaxploitation movies (think Shaft and Foxy Brown) as well as elements of Shaw Brothers Kung Fu Movies.

The lack of comments telling them to watch 'Top Secret' is disturbing.. and no.. they don't need to watch every film it spoofs to get the jokes. Its perfect.

There's a lot of great comedy in this, helps if you know the films it spoofs.. The Worlds Fastest Indian doesn't require any prior knowledge!

the problem with "Hot Shots" is that it does not spoof a specific genre - it spoofs a bunch of unrelated movies of the time period, so it struggles to fit them into a plot, and unless you've seen all of the movies being spoofed it does not age well. Spoofing a genre - which Mel Brooks was a master of - results in better movie.
